It is an absolute disaster when those on the left try to define conservatism or conservatives in America. Similar results can be obtained by asking a five-year old to balance a checkbook—both of which will lead to cleaning up messes. In the defense of a five-year old with a checkbook, it can merely be stated that it was incompetence. In the case of the left it can merely be stated that it was malicious incompetence. Perhaps the only thing left to be said about the Jan. 9 shootings in Tuscon is that so much of the early speculation now appears to have been reckless, groundless and wrong.
