Charles Johnson is at it again. Over at the steamingpile that isLittle Green Footballs, Charles jumps up and down, waves his arms frantically, and screams, "Look at me!! Look at me!!" to the rest of the political blogosphere. For his troubles he gets a shout out from Think Progress.

Charles Johnson Now So Anti-Racist He's Denouncing Fake Racist Quotes Charles Johnson was against fake but accurate before he was for it. No link for the idiot. I'll just quote him. From a thread: Top 10 Rush Limbaugh Racist Quotes. All out of context, and sarcasm. Right? That link I've left in provides a flurry of extremely dubious Limbaugh "quotes" -- and not a single link or citation. Including the ones created wholesale by noted scholar "zedladdy" and spread by no lesser authority than "cobra." Given that "zedladdy" and "cobra" previously invented own quotes, spread them around, and then uploaded...

Little Green Footballs, once one of the highest regarded Conservative blogs on the entire Internet, has devolved into one of the most vile anti-Conservative blogs on the entire Internet, as the website apparently devotes itself to spearing right-wing pundits, lawmakers, fellow bloggers, and the ideals which Conservatives hold dear. Over the past few weeks alone, Little Green Footballs has attacked Congressman Roy Blunt as a racist, which has been disproved by numerous sources, even the New York Times did not buy into the racist claims against Congressman Blunt, then Little Green Footballs attacked Senator Jim Inhofe for opposing global warming,...

It seems Charles Johnson has really pissed off the wrong person. If Roger L. Simon (Da Raj)found his batshit crazy nemesis in me, it seems Charles has found his in journalist Robert Stacy McCain. What is even more delightful, at least to yours truly, is that McCain appears to be willing to takethis blog warall the way... Which is just the way I like it.

Just to give full disclosure upfront, I used to consider Charles Johnson one of my "Idols" in the blogging world. He helped invent citizen Journalism. That was until banned from Little Green Footballs for one reason, refusing to give up my friendship with Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) and Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch). For the last two years Johnson has been like the crazy old man who tries to alienate his family, but in his case he has been throwing bloggers out of his site. For some of them like Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer he not only cast them asunder,...

I used to go to LFG a lot a few years ago. Seemed like they gave some pretty good conservative news there. I started going back a few months ago and it seems like a diffrent site now. Have they changed writters? Had a change of political philosophy? Did I miss something? Seems like almost every story over there now bashes anything conservative. Making fun of people who believe in god, trashing teabag protest, trashing health care protest, etc. I would really like to know. Perhaps the Kos kidz put something in the cool-aid. As of now I am not...

Pew Researchs latest News Interest Index survey shows that a majority of Republicans would like to see more media coverage of the Nirth Certifikit theory.

If someone intentionally tried to thwart the workings of the United States government by fake documents and misinformation, we would normally call them espionage agents and try them for treason if they were exposed and caught. So what about the people who have several versions of a fake Obama birth certificate that purports to prove he was born in the Republic of Kenya and therefore cant serve as President? Isnt that treason? The best of these forgeries has several versions, some better Photoshop products than others, but the funny thing about all this is that they are all so bad...

RNC chairman Michael Steele risks the wrath of the Nirth Certifikit horde.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you your elected Republican officials. Only one, Trent Franks (R-Arizona), issues an unequivocal denunciation of the Birth Certificate loons. Most of the others avoid the question, and one or two seem to be Nirthers themselves.

Ann Coulter brushes off the nirth certifikit kooks as just a few cranks, nothing to worry about, pay no attention, its the media trying to make conservatives look bad again... And over at Free Republic, hundreds of commenters are now convinced that Ann Coulter is a RINO and a traitor...

Its a good thing were not having any kind of recession or financial crisis or massive deficit or anything like that here in the US, so we can afford to send $200 million in aid to Palestinians.

Heres one of the most short-sighted and self-destructive things Ive ever seen the Associated Press do theyre going to try to prevent search engines and blogs from even linking to their articles, unless they pay for the privilege.

One of the craziest Nirthers, Andrea Shea King (a writer for World Net Daily), is now openly promoting violent revolution, publishing a letter from a deranged listener to her Internet radio show:... ...it seems growingly clear we will be unable to resolve this constitutional crisis in a peaceful matter. Like your one guest stated there will be blood on the streets. It was already predestined...

The insane conspiracy theory called the Birther movement is gaining support among Republican politicians. Now theres actually a bill sponsored by Republicans that panders to these nuts. I hate it when I agree with Chris Matthews, but hes right on this issue this madness is embarrassing, self-destructive, and above all mind-bogglingly schtoopid. And its spreading.

CBS has obtained internal McCain-Palin campaign emails that show a lot of infighting between Sarah Palin and campaign staffers. Internal campaign e-mails exchanged three weeks before Election Day offer a rare look at just how frustrated then Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin had become with the manner in which top McCain campaign aides were handling her candidacy. The e-mails, obtained exclusively, also highlight the power struggle and thinly veiled acrimony that pervaded the relationship between Palin and the campaigns chief strategist, Steve Schmidt. The episode in question began when an investigative report published on the left-leaning Web site Salon.com...

Since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, jazz musician and Web designer Charles Johnson has devoted his blog, Little Green Footballs, to exposing Muslim extremism in and outside the United States. His targets have included the Council on American-Islamic Relations, filmmaker Michael Moore, Reuters, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), Dan Rather, and the late pro-Palestinian activist Rachel Corrie who some LGF commenters (not Johnson) call St. Pancake, a tribute to the Israeli steamroller that killed her. LGF helped write the lexicon of the self-styled anti-Jihadist blogosphere from moonbat (an unthinking or insane leftist) to anti-idiotarian (anyone who grasps...

In her new book, does Ann Coulter actually defend a white supremacist hate group, claiming theyve been unfairly branded as racist? Unfortunately, she really does. Im not taking the Southern Poverty Law Centers word for it, either; I have the book and Ive confirmed that everything they say in this article is accurate.

David Klinghoffer of the anti-evolution Discovery Institute has an opinion column in the Jerusalem Post, attacking Jewish groups like the ADL for protesting against Pope Benedicts reinstatement of Holocaust-denying Bishop Richard Williamson. Klinghoffer calls it whining: The wages of whining. But the real purpose of Klinghoffers column is to attempt to redirect Jewish anger toward the Discovery Institutes main target: the theory of evolution... But Klinghoffers false equivalence is even more thoroughly destroyed by the fact that the Nazis banned Darwins books:...

We have something special planned for the Democratic Convention this coming week! Little Green Footballs and Pajamas Media are joining forces to send the undead creature known only as Zombie to the Convention, for the kind of exclusive, slightly bent coverage only an undead creature can provide. We have a full schedule of newsworthy stuff laid out, but you’ll just have to keep checking LGF because the Recreate 68 moonbats may act up and change our plans. We’ll be staying in touch with Agent Z minute by minute during the circus, through the magic of teh innernut.Zombie’s reports will begin...

Noted political expert and gaseous far left windbag Michael Moore advises the Democratic Party how to lose the Presidential election. With a heaping helping of contempt for American voters, to pander to the Guardian’s audience. Keep saying nice things about McCain. Like how he’s been “good on global warming” and campaign finance. Keep reminding a country at war that he and he alone is a war hero. Not to mention an all-round good guy. Say that enough and what happens? The same thing that happens when you repeat over and over, “Apply directly to the forehead” - people start to believe...

I warned them. Im going to be removing Ron Pauls name from any further LGF straw polls, because his supporters are deliberately spamming our polls to make it appear as if Paul has more support than he does. Be aware that his results in the poll immediately preceding are not legitimate. Stand Up for Denmark Rally An update to Christopher Hitchens’ call for a rally at the Danish embassy in Washington DC: Update, Feb. 22: Thank you all who’ve written. Please be outside the Embassy of Denmark, 3200 Whitehaven Street (off Massachusetts Avenue) between noon and 1 p.m. this Friday, Feb. 24. Quietness and calm are the necessities, plus cheerful conversation. But they are an...

International journalists discuss Lebanon war coverage; NYT bureau chief: Israel 'not interested in Lebanese deaths' A number of journalists claimed during a convention in Jerusalem Monday evening that Israel and the IDF were mostly to blame for the way the foreign media covered the Lebanon war. The panel of journalists, largely from the international media, convened to discuss their coverage of the war, at a conference arranged by the Media Line agency's Mideast Press Club. "Journalists' access to the battlefield is controlled exclusively by the IDF," said Simon McGregor-Wood, Chairman of the Foreign Press Association, and Bureau Chief of ABC...

He initiated uproar that exposed ethics breach The furor over a photograph began in such a quiet, ordinary way. Mike Thorson, a Janesville artist and part owner of a tool distribution company, was sitting at his computer on a Saturday, checking a few news sites after looking at his e-mail. On Yahoo, he came across a Reuters photograph purporting to show the smoky aftermath of an Israeli air raid on the Beirut suburbs. "As soon as I saw it something looked very strange," said Thorson, 39. What he found led to a story that raced around the globe and resulted...

The title of this column is one of my favorite lines from William Faulkners masterpiece, The Sound and the Fury. It is also a precise description of what is wrong with the American press, as two examples from the past week demonstrate. One concerns the blogosphere. The other concerns the nearly universal incompetence of the press in reporting on the Danish cartoons that are causing the Muslim riots. Faulkners character, Quentin Compson, on the day of his suicide at Harvard, reflects on his sisters long-lost virginity with these words, which, being believed, was, whether it was or not. The first...

Hugo Chavez is running for Little Green Footballs' 2005 Idiot Of The Year and has pulled into second place. The Thug of Caracas and Master Latin American Idiot is closing in on the crown he deserves. Vote for Hugo. Do it for Venezuelans who have been denied the vote due to Hugo Chavez's Jimmy Carter-sanctioned electoral fraud. Earlier this year, CBS aired a now-infamous 60 Minutes episode in which Rather presented typed memoranda supposedly written over 30 years ago by President George W. Bushs Texas Air National Guard commander, the late Lieutenant Colonel Jerry B. Killian. The documents purported to show that Bush received preferential treatment while serving in the military. Hours after the broadcast, well-known bloggers like Little Green Footballs, Power Line, and the widely known Instapundit as well as NRO's Kerry Spot & The Corner were casting doubt on the documents authenticity. As the controversy grew, they posted frequent updates and became virtual...
