Vermont State Police are investigating a threatening letter to a Republican candidate for the Vermont House of Representatives. Colchester House candidate Deserae Morin, who is running for office for the first time, received an anonymous letter in the mail to her home address on Friday. A photo of the letter sent out with the statement shows a message constructed out of cut-out letters fixed to a piece of paper. “We are hunting you. My comrades will kill you and the Constitution,” it states. The letter threatens her with sexual violence. “You will scream and know that agonizing horror,” it reads....

The American Civil Liberties Union of Alabama, in conjunction with several other civil rights groups, is planning to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the immigration policy Alabama Gov. Robert J. Bentley signed into law Thursday. ..civil liberties activists are up in arms and preparing to mount their legal challenge. “This law is an outrageous throw-back to the pre-Civil Rights era, going beyond the discriminatory and unconstitutional police practices that we’ve seen in other states,” Cecillia Wang, director of the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project.

I just came from the Philadelphia town hall meeting. First off I am glad that there were more objecting to this crap. However, these people have their minds made up and don't give a spit about what we think.One thing I have to say is, I knew Sebelius was a nut job...but now I really believe she is evil! There was a man who obviously had some physical disability and he thanked Sebelius for her service...she gave him a courtesy smile then her face went to "stone cold evil" after he looked away! Such arrogance...the anger ran through my veins...
