The president made the comment one day after Limbaugh explained to his radio listeners why Trump said in a July 29 tweet: "I would be willing to 'shut down' government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Sorry for the vanity but Rush did a 180 on trade today and I am proud of him. Rush confessed he was wrong all of these decades about trade, live on air just a few minutes ago! I'm a (fifth year) 24/7 listener. I try to stream the show each evening when I get home from work. After three failed attempts I was forced to download the podcasts (mp3) for each hour. So I'm listening now and Rush has chirped non-stop for ten minutes at the start of the show about the greatness of today's "upgrades." I'm not impressed. I've sent a complaint with technical details but I doubt I'll get anything more than a pro-forma response. Maybe someone on Rush's staff will notice this and let him know that at least this loyal, 25+ year listener...

RUSH: The other big story is Robert Mueller apparently telling Trump’s lawyers a month ago that while Trump remains under investigation, he’s not a target.
