Police have released bodycam and security footage of the shooting in Lakewood church, showing the chaos and terror of the encounter. On February 11, 2024 Genesse Moreno entered Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church with an AR-15 and opened fire, causing people to flee and take cover. Minutes later, she was dead and two people were injured, including the shooter’s seven-year-old son, who was shot in the head three times and remains in critical condition. As soon as the shooting begins, the off-duty officers instantly start towards the gunfire, with one saying, “We need to approach. Father God, just be with us....

"Don't worry my MUSLIMS brothers I am pass the threat phase. I'm in planning mode." A mentally unstable leftist shot 3 Muslims in Burlington, VT and every political figure, including Biden and Kamala, and the entire media falsely claimed it was “Islamophobia” and “anti-Palestinianism” until it turned out that the shooter supported Hamas. A mentally unstable woman walks into a pro-Israel church with a rifle that says “Palestine” on it after appearing in a hijab and there’s uncomfortable fidgeting. The police claimed that she had “antisemitic writings”, they neglected to mention the overt support for Islamic terrorism. Moreno’s Telegram posts...

As Twitchy reported and no mainstream media outlet probably will, a transgender woman from El Salvador tried to shoot up Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church with an AR-15 Sunday, only to be taken down by two off-duty police officers. Genesse Moreno, who went by the name “Jeffrey,” had "Free Palestine" written on her rifle, so the motive is still unclear. The Houston Police have announced that through an investigation that included documents and interviews, they have determined that the shooter was a female Hispanic and will be referred to by she/her pronouns. This is all very confusing, but it seems that...

The news is breaking today that the person who walked into Lakewood Church in Houston on Sunday afternoon and opened fire was transgender. I have been waiting for more information about this shooting, as a Houstonian, and as a media observer. When the shooting was breaking news, one aspect of the story didn't sit well with me. It seemed as though local law enforcement and the media were not transparent with all they knew. It seemed like they were holding back. Frankly, I was waiting for the shooter to be identified as an illegal alien. It turns out it is...

Televangelist Joel Osteen cancelled services at his Houston megachurch Sunday and has yet to reopen its doors — despite the fact that thousands of flooded-out residents are desperately seeking shelter. The perpetually smiling pastor told followers on Twitter on Monday to lean on their faith. “Jesus promises us peace that passes understanding,” he wrote. “That’s peace when it doesn’t make sense.” But Osteen’s comforting words didn’t sit well with critics, who want to know why the doors to his 16,800-seat arena at his Lakewood Church near downtown Houston are closed. “You have taken so much money away from your people...

Joel Osteen, the popular 52-year-old leader of America's largest protestant church, Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, bluntly revealed that the reason why he avoids speaking out on hot button social and political issues, such as same-sex marriage, is because he believes that's not what he's called to do as a pastor. In a recent interview on WBUR's "Here & Now" radio program Osteen, who was asked if he felt these hot button social and political issues are important, said: "I think they are important but I think everybody has their own calling." He further explained that "It's not what I'm...

City Council on Wednesday gave a cool response to Mayor Annise Parker's plan to sell the former site of the Compaq Center to Lakewood Church for $7.5 million, the first hint of discord between the newly elected mayor and the 14-member council. The numerous questions — ranging from whether the 606,050-square-foot building was worth far more to why the proposal was not vetted more thoroughly — threw into doubt a sale that Parker needs to close a lingering budget gap before the end of the year. Parker said that if further vetting does not bring council around to the idea,...
