A madman with a knife attacked people—seemingly at random—in a busy section of Paris Saturday before he was fatally gunned down by police, BFM TV reported. At least one person died and eight others were wounded in the attack, carried out near the Palais Garnier opera house, according to Le Parisien. "I just saw the man knifing random people," wrote Twitter user Esohe Denise Odaro. A police spokesperson confirmed the stabbing. On November 29 of 2016, in St. Louis, Missouri, Terrell McDaniel, 36, was attacked by Robert Collins, 44. Collins was intoxicated and attacked McDaniel with a milk crate.
