“Why haven’t we sent a message yet to [Vladimir] Putin?” Meet The Press host Chuck Todd asked in an interview airing on Sunday. Biden smiled and paused before answering. “We’re sending a message,” he said. “We have the capacity to do it, and the message will be sent—he’ll know it, and it’ll be at the time of our choosing and under the circumstances that have the greatest impact.” . . . “So a message is going to be sent. Will the public know it?” Todd asked. “Hope not,” Biden said.

Vice President Joe Biden added his voice Saturday to a chorus of other politicians condemning Donald Trump for lewd remarks he made about seducing women in a 2005 video that surfaced Friday. "The words are demeaning. Such behavior is an abuse of power. It's not lewd. It's sexual assault," Biden tweeted. He signed off on the message with, "–Joe," indicating that the message from his official Twitter account was written by himself.

“I aspire for one of my grandchildren to become wealthy so when they put me in the home, I’ll get a window with a view,” the vice president said. Biden then joked it’s “embarrassing” that Sanders is worth more than him. “As I pointed out, it was embarrassing that Bernie Sanders’ net worth is more than mine,” Biden said. “I have less money than a socialist. I don’t know what the hell happened to me.”

Joe Biden is throwing some serious shade at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Hot off Hillary Clinton’s health debacle that showed her collapsing outside the Sept. 11 memorial in New York City, the Democrats are desperate to turn the tables.

Vice President Joe Biden repeated a gaffe from last month on Thursday when he pointed out the military aide who travels with him carrying the nuclear launch codes. Again criticizing GOP nominee Donald Trump as unfit to be commander-in-chief during a Hillary Clinton campaign rally in Ohio, Biden cited the responsibility of holding the nuclear codes. “He has no idea what the hell he’s talking about, and guess what? That’s OK sometimes … But I’ve got a military aide with me carrying a briefcase,” Biden said, pointing to his left. “No, I mean this sincerely. That briefcase has the nuclear...

On Wednesday, America's Vice President Joe Biden will arrive in Turkey. His main mission is to smooth things over with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is getting angrier with the United States by the day. The reason Erdogan is so angry with the United States is, Erdogan says, that America still provides a safe haven to Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, who Ankara accuses of being behind the failed military coup on July 15. Both before, but especially after the coup, the Turkish government has accused Gülen, who lives in Pennsylvania, of being a terrorist leader comparable to ISIS self-declared...

... A Japanese company named Trottla already ships child-sized sex dolls globally. Earlier this year, a Canadian man went on trial after he was arrested in 2013 for ordering such a doll. Under Canadian law, they are considered child pornography and he could go to jail for seven years. But what if dolls like these could help rather than hurt? Ron Arkin, a robotics engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology and one of the panelists, argued that people should not only legally be permitted to have such dolls, but perhaps some should be handed prescriptions for them. In his...

Crazy Uncle Joe Strikes Again… Hillary Clinton took Joe Biden with her on the campaign trail today after a weekend of rest. Biden took to the stage to bash businessman Donald Trump. Then he gave away the Secret Service agent who was holding the nuclear codes. "Donald Trump… He cannot be trusted. There’s a guy that follows me, has the nuclear codes. So, God forbid anything happen to the president and I had to make a decision the codes are with me… He is not qualified." What an complete idiot. https://youtu.be/QNfBo8biMiE

Hillary Clinton almost took a spill on Monday as she stepped down from the podium to make way for Vice President Joe Biden during their joint campaign event in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Biden caught her arm, and Clinton laughed as she patted him on the back. “Great speech,” he said.

Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Turkey later this month to smooth over the administration’s relationship with the NATO ally. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime survived a coup attempt last month and has since been cracking down on journalists, academics and the military in an effort to suppress what it sees as vestiges of the coup movement. The White House said in a release that Biden's stop in Ankara will be part of a three-day trip that also includes visits to Latvia and Sweden.

Vice President Joe Biden surprised President Obama with birthday treats in the Oval Office Thursday. White House photographer Pete Souza posted a photo of Obama bending over to blow out the candles. Biden was really feeling the spirit on Obama's 55th, tweeting an image of "Joe" and "Barack" friendship bracelets earlier in the day.

Questions revolving around marriage and human sexuality are deeply felt in our homes and communities. We join with our Holy Father Pope Francis in affirming the inviolable dignity of all people and the Church’s important role in accompanying all those in need. In doing so, we also stand with Pope Francis in preserving the dignity and meaning of marriage as the union of a man and a woman. The two strands of the dignity of the person and the dignity of marriage and the family are interwoven. To pull apart one is to unravel the whole fabric. When a prominent...

John Heilemann came up with a strange way to defend Joe Biden and Barack Obama, and to attack Melania Trump, for the plagiarism in speeches each of them gave. On today’s Morning Joe, Heilemann argued that Biden and Obama’s plagiarism wasn’t as bad, because they ripped off fellow liberals: Neil Kinnock and Deval Patrick, respectively. In contrast, passages in Melania’s speech came from a 2008 Michelle Obama speech. Per Heilemann, that made Melania, or the person who prepared those passages for her, a “moronic plagiarist.” Heilemann omits one important thing: Melania is the wife of the candidate, for whom English...

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” Vice President Joe Biden stated that during President Obama’s meeting with law enforcement officials, Obama responded to their criticisms of some of his past statements “by pointing out, which I don’t think that they heard loudly and clearly, that, he in fact has, repeatedly, been supportive of the police organizations.”

Hint: Her first name is Hillary. See this earlier announcement via the New York Times: "Mrs. Clinton will be in Pennsylvania, with Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., at events that will touch on the police-related deaths of Alton B. Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota, as protests raged in Chicago and New York."Mrs. Clinton, who is seeking to reassemble President Obama’s winning coalition amid the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, has made criminal justice overhaul a hallmark of her campaign."Poor Hillary. She was all set to pander once again to the Black vote while attacking...

A long profile on Hillary Clinton in the Washington Post earlier this week highlights (the 2011 Libyan intervention) as a key indicator of her approach to foreign policy. Clinton claims that the Libyan bombing campaign was an example of “smart power at its best.” If she actually believes that, it raises serious questions about her judgment, as well as about her ability to analyze foreign policy dispassionately and with the best interests of the United States at heart. If Clinton is willing to point to Libya as a “signature moment in her four-year tenure” as secretary of state, as the...

The vice president said he’d like to take away federal funding from those universities. Less than a month after Vice President Joe Biden penned an emotional letter to the woman sexually assaulted by Brock Turner, the White House has announced sweeping new rules for future visits to colleges campuses. Under the policy, President Barack Obama, Biden, their wives and members of the Cabinet will no longer visit higher education institutions where officials are deemed to be doing a poor job tackling the troubling frequency of reported sexual assaults, according to The Washington Post’s Juliet Eilperin. The move is the latest...
