ATLANTIC CITY – The Penn State seniors and Bill O'Brien took part in a star-studded awards gala Friday evening. Gone were the uniforms, ball caps and sweatshirts. Forget the sneakers and shorts which were traded in for tuxedos, bow ties and freshly-pressed suits. O'Brien and the senior class both received loud ovations from the crowd inside the Maxwell Football Club's awards gala. Bill O'Brien was honored as the Maxwell Football Club's Collegiate Coach of the Year during Friday's national awards gala and the senior class was also honored with the Brookshire Spirit Award. The award was accepted on behalf of...

New Ad Released by NRA on February 21, 2013: During a Facebook chat on Tuesday, February 19, Vice President Joe Biden said that he advised his wife, Jill, to fire a shotgun twice in the air on an outside porch if she was ever concerned for her safety. "I said, 'Jill, if there's ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out and put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.""

The Ohio man known to America as “Joe the Plumber” is raffling off an AR-15 rifle to protest discussion of a ban on assault weapons. “Despite what national news commentators say, the AR 15 is NOT an ‘assault weapon’ or ‘weapon of mass destruction,’” he wrote at JoeForAmerica.com. “In honor of this magnificent rifle, JoeForAmerica.com is giving away a new AR 15 to the lucky man or woman who wins this drawing.” Joe the Plumber, whose real name is Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher, sprang onto the national stage during the 2008 campaign when President Barack Obama and then-GOP presidential candidate John...

One of Pennsylvania's most prominent citizens has been part of the Paterno family's efforts to clear the late Joe Paterno of responsibility for the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal at Penn State. The Paterno family is set to release its rebuttal to the Freeh Report on Sunday morning, starting with an appearance by the authors of their counter-attack on the ESPN news magazine show, "Outside the Lines." Former Gov. Dick Thornburgh will be prominent on that panel, giving it heft as a former U.S. Attorney General under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. Thornburgh's involvement in the Paterno's...

Lehigh Valley Congressman Charlie Dent said Penn State's culture is not to blame for Jerry Sandusky's decades of child sexual abuse, according to a review of the university's internal investigation by Joe Paterno's family. Dent, in a telephone interview Friday, said he had read summaries of the review commissioned by the late head football coach's family. The review is set to be published Sunday morning. "To blame the culture of Penn State for Sandusky's crimes is a horrible mistake," Dent said Friday, characterizing the findings of one of the experts commissioned by the Paterno family. "To blame the culture of...

by John HillStand With ArizonaHe’s known as “America’s Toughest Sheriff”. But Joe Arpaio continues to show he deserves the moniker of “America’s JOBS Sheriff”. Because every time Sheriff Joe conducts a raid, he frees up jobs for legal American workers. And at a time when raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are almost unheard of - Barack Obama has slashed workplace enforcement by a staggering 70% since 2009 - Sheriff Joe and his department keep on working to crack down on illegal aliens in the workplace. Today was no exception, as Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies raided Sportex Apparel in Tempe, AZ, a custom-made...

Franco Harris doesn't believe the NCAA sanctions against Penn State will stand, nor is he convinced that the trials of former Penn State officials will occur. Further, the former Penn State running back said, he sees opinions shifting about his alma mater's role in the Jerry Sandusky scandal. "The narrative is starting to change," Harris said Friday. "The [grand jury] presentment and the Freeh Report are falling apart. The NCAA [sanctions], that will fall apart. There will be no trials for [Tim] Curley and [Gary] Schultz. There's no case. We're starting to find the truth." More than 200 turned...

I do know however that I am even more sure than ever that the media, as proven by Te’o, Armstrong, and Steubenville, is simply not to be trusted on any story where they become enamored with the narrative and is particularly vulnerable to being completely fooled on a "perfect storm" story like the Sandusky scandal. In other words, I was always confident that we were correct, but the events of the past couple of weeks have made me morally certain of it. Unlike with Sally Jenkins and Buzz Bissinger, that doesn’t happen unless I am right.

Related – WATCH: Joe Scarborough Goes Off On Mika Brzezinski Excerpted from LegalSchnauzer: Many Americans probably have forgotten, or never knew, that a 28-year-old female staff member was found dead in the summer of 2001 in the office of U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-FL). Officials in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, determined that Lori Klausutis died from an accident. The mainstream press largely ignored the case, but our review of several investigative reports indicates the official finding is highly questionable. Does that mean Joe Scarborough is a murderer? No. But we suspect someone who had access to Scarborough’s office in 2001...

Vice President Joe Biden got a little frisky with the wife of Senator Angus King at today's ceremonial swearing-in at the Capitol:

Law: A quarter of a century ago, a good and great man was slandered to maintain liberal judicial power. It was Vice President Joe Biden, who as a senator, led the injustices committed against Judge Robert Bork. The Wednesday morning death of Bork, Ronald Reagan´s failed 1987 Supreme Court nominee, should make us think how much freer and better this country would be if Bork´s intellectual power and constitutional integrity had been present within the justices´ deliberations over the past 25 years. Had Reagan nominated Bork to replace retiring Chief Justice Warren Burger in 1986, when Republicans

Video link to an interview w/ Costas and Franco Harris. They also did another interview at the same link on the Immaculate Reception. Franco tells it like it is. Costas has softened on Joe because he actually read the freeh report. Good interview and good representation from Franco (who is not known for his public speaking).

A leading gun rights advocate announced it endorsed the Ohio man who became known as “Joe the Plumber” in his race to represent Ohio’s 9th Congressional District in Washington. “I’m excited and all the same time, incredibly humbled by the announcement we have received an enthusiastic and strong endorsement of the Gun Owners of America,” said Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, who earned the moniker in 2008 when he confronted then-candidate Barack Obama about how Obama’s tax policies would discourage him from buying a plumbing business. “As an avid sportsman and gun owner, I can tell you with great pride that no...
