Head of Durham University Law School Professor Thom Brooks has told a Commons inquiry that people found guilty of committing ‘hate crimes’ should be put on an official register. Concord-based Alevo Energy is considering spending more than $250 million to expand production at its utility battery plant and add 202 jobs there. Head of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development says Tesla has hired more than 1,000 workers at its Gigafactory plant outside of Reno, and on pace to increase hiring by another 150 to 200 workers each month.
