Since you've done what you've done to another reporter of mine when others seem to be allowed to post back to their blog or sites viablogger section, I've taken the liberty to gathering information about your website.

1. I've determined the need for all that money a month is invalid. I run a major website, and do not need that much.

Happy BirthdayFree Republic(13) Thank you JimRob (or is it that Thompson fella?)for the memories, frustrations with friends & foe, love, and friendships forged over the years.

I went dumpster diving out back behind the “Lizard Lounge” over at 1.0 and found this apparent rough draft of a post Charles might be planning. Looks like he’s discovered yet more dangerous right wing extremists who are planning a revolution. (By the way, folks, this is satire.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following up on my post from yesterday that outed Jim Thompson, the founder of the right wing website Free Republic, for calling for a revolution to overturn the results of last November’s election, it seems the kook right wing fringe blogosphere’s case of Obama Derangement Syndrome is getting even worse. Obviously...

Jim Robinson, founder of right wing website Free Republic, has decided he’s going to toss out the results of the last election, remove Barack Obama from office, repeal the 16th and 17th amendments to the US Constitution (and Roe v. Wade, of course), abolish a host of government agencies, and give all governmental power to individual states...

I wish to say thank you to Jim Robinson for starting Free Republic because it has kept me informed more than any other blog on the net. Jim I am so sorry you are under attack from the left, but I as a Catholic will pray for you and I now encourage all other FReeper to do the same. God is stronger than the liberal democrats and we know this. So I ask all the FReepers to send Jim Robinson your prayers and ask for God's protection.

(Note: this report is a paraphrase based on memory, not tape. Any inaccuracies will be corrected down thread by me or other FReepers.)Fox News Channel host Bill O'Reilly responded on The Factor tonight to criticisms of his attacks last night on Free Republic and Hot Air by the sites' respective founders, Jim Robinson and Michelle Malkin. The segment last night was on reaction by right and left wing websites on the Judge Sotomayor nomination to the Supreme Court. Free Republic was singled out for an obnoxious comment about Sotomayor being diabetic. Hot Air was singled out for an impolitic strongly...

Re: Your on-air bashing of Free Republic So, you think that because one poster on FR comments that a diabetic supreme court nominee might not live to a ripe old age that all 350,000 of us are insensitive right-wing loons? Got news for you pal. The owner of Free Republic (namely me) is diabetic and I've already lost one leg due to this despicable disease and the other leg looks like it's ready to fall off any day now. My sister died of complications brought on by juvenile diabetes at the tender age 43. I've out-lived her in years, but...

I went to visit Sen. Arlen Specter to save him from an embarrassing pro-stimulus vote that will damage America's economy and send the nation back to 1970s-style stagflation. Jim Robinson, founder of FreeRepublic.com, and I arrived at Sen. Specter's office with a group of folks who oppose the $1.5 trillion stimulus package, on this past Monday morning. We asked to see Sen. Specter. The office secretary didn't seem to be happy to see us. I could not blame her. We were there to embarrass her boss. Jim, wearing his Navy cap, asked about the senator's whereabouts, but the secretary wasn't...

Today on the Glenn Beck show on Fox News, Ann Coulter mentioned the difference between Conservatives and Liberals and who funds and represents them. Of course the liberals are funded by billionaire Marxists like George Soros. She mentioned that the Conservative Movement "bubbles" up from grass roots, like someone from a Lawyer family who goes on radio and is fired over and over again, and Free Republic, started by "Just some guy from out in California," a reference to Jim Robinson and this site, the Premire Conservative Website on the www.

New Freeper met Jim Robinson today - standing up for Americans at the capitol, fighting to not give our country to socialist Obama.

Sen. Arlen Specter must feel like one lucky man today. He wasn’t in his Capitol Hill offices when MAF Chairman Melanie Morgan, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, Freepers and Free Republic founder Jim Robinson, and other patriotic citizens stormed his office to demand he reverse his position supporting the porkulus bill, aka the Barack-Blowing-Through- Dollars-Scheme.

Cornyn: Fla. Senate race 'open field' By POLITICO STAFF | 2/9/09 4:25 AM EST Pressure Mounts On GOP Supporters The three Senate Republicans who say they’ll support the $827 billion economic recovery plan are facing pressure from both sides of the debate. A group of stimulus opponents led by FreeRepublic.com founder Jim Robinson and Move America Forward chairwoman Melanie Morgan plans to protest outside the office of Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) at 10 a.m. Monday before moving on to the offices of Maine Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe. Meanwhile, the group Americans United for Change is running...

A Democrat is poised to take the reins of power in Washington, D.C., and Fresno resident Jim Robinson is feeling a sense of deja vu. It was President Bill Clinton's 1992 election that sparked Robinson's political activism, driving him to create a Web site that made him a grass-roots leader among conservatives before Clinton's term was over. This year, as Barack Obama prepares to sweep into office on another tide of Democratic votes, Robinson and denizens of that Web site, freerepublic.com, are preparing to do battle again. "We'll double and redouble our efforts to fight for what is right," Robinson...

Revising and extending my remarks: We're receiving lots of complaints lately from freshly banned liberals, trolls and malcontents. Well, Free Republic has not changed and will not change. We are NOT "fair and balanced." Never will be. We are biased toward God, country, Life and Liberty. Marriage, family and traditional values. Constitution, inalienable rights, private property and limited government. Small government, small spending, small taxes. National security, national sovereignty, strong defense and secure borders. Individual rights, individual responsibility and self-government. Privacy, individual and family security, self-defense and right to keep and bear arms. Rights to freely exercise our religion, freedom...

Governor Sarah Palin! Or, actually, what she signifies. We've often stated on FR that if the Republicans would only run true conservatives then we'd win more elections. We'd keep the White House, build conservative majorities in congress, replace liberal activist judges with original intent constitutionalists, and eventually overturn Roe v Wade and begin rolling back some of the damage inflicted upon our beloved republic by the socialists and liberals. John McCain's bold choice of the unabashed pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-liberty, small government, strong defense, fiscal conservative, Sarah Palin, signifies a return to conservatism within the Republican Party. And the...

The infection on Jim's right ankle flared up again about three weeks ago. They tried treating it with antibiotics but they had no effect. When Jim went in on Wednesday for followup visit and possibly a new prescription, they admitted him for tests and intravenous antibiotics. He was told that he would be there until at least Monday. They are not anticipating more surgery at this time.

Prayer RequestJim Robinson is having surgery tomorrow, May 15thSee the posts below for information about this procedure. Jim Update: It has been a frustrating day, I finally have a update for everyone. I called Jim at the hospital. The nurse was in his room and gave him the phone. Sheila took his cell phone to him so I will be able to contact him easier. Also they took his laptop. Due to major pain killers, he was able to sleep in the bed last night and was in bed when I called. He sounded better than he has for...

Jim Robinson is in surgery today and the last thing he needs to be worried about is whether or not the freepathon is going to continue for another day/week/month. In the words of "Larry, The cable guy"... LETS GET 'ER DONE!!

Jim Robinson has created and maintains a huge treasure trove of news and information here at FreeRepublic.com. He gladly shares it with us Freepers and the rest of the world (a.k.a. - lurkers). And thanks to Jim and staff, FreeRepublic has a fantastic search engine (far surpassing Google), IMHO, due to the plethora of relevant news and information from around the world posted by us Freepers. For lack of a better description, I would classify FreeRepublic as a huge historical news and information database thanks to all of the postings and comments of Freepers (and a few disrupters - ZOT!!)....

Prayer Request for Jim Robinson Original post: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1995434/posts?page=1 Sorry about being gone all day yesterday. I was at the VA hospital where a team of doctors and cardiovascular surgeons were examining my legs and trying to come up with a treatment plan for the circulatory problem I've been fighting for the last several years. The good news is they think they can save my legs! Hurrah! And I will probably be out most of today too. I'm going back to the VA this morning for some sonogram tests. More on that on another thread later. By the way, I...

Finally! It is set. Congressman and Presidential Candidate Duncan Lee Hunter will join us on Free Republic on Monday, August 13, around lunchtime, Pacific Time. He will be with his son Sam (Duncan Hunter Ambassador) in San Diego. He will log onto Free Republic as a new member. I will post the 16 questions we gave him last month AND the answers he has provided to those questions in a "live thread". Mr. Hunter will come onto FR and answer a few follow up questions and rub elbows with the "folks" for an hour or so. Please understand that he...

About me: Lurker - since 1998 Member - since 1999 In self-imposed exile - since April 2007 The tone of the debate and the attacks on long-time fellow Freepers for the cardinal sin of daring to support Rudy Giuliani in early 2007 around here have really saddened me. Instead of fighting the enemy FR is now imposing an 'ideological purity' test on FR members. The well-oiled train has gone off the rails and Mr. Robinson risks becoming the next Joe Farah - a fellow who started a great website for conservative news and opinions, but who gradually drifted off to...

Would you accept a gay agenda/NARAL supporting abortionist gun-grabber as your party's savior against Hillary Clinton even if it means we abandon the pro-life, pro-family, pro-freedom of religion and pro-gun planks from the party's platform? And most likely ends any prayer of ever overturning Roe vs Wade or preventing gay marriage as the law of the land? And eventually leads to permanently ending any and all mention of God or prayer in the public square? And further erodes away the right of the people to keep and bear arms? Will preachers speaking out against the gay agenda eventually become a...

Bringing back a classic from Dec. 1998. It was probably one of the first 100 songs I did on FR. I joined FR after getting my first computer in about April of 1997 and seeing "Whitewater Files" on the DRUDGE REPORT. Let's sing it for JimRob's birthday. ================================================================== Note: I had to pull a new MIDI for this. I hope it tracks okay. MIDI - MRS. Natalie Maines of the 'Dixie Chicks' created quite an uproar the night of the president's decision to declare war on Iraq in 2003. Maines stated that the Dixie Chicks as a whole were 'ashamed' of the Bush decision and Maines said she was "embarrassed he was from Texas." The group refused to retract their statement, and instead responded to the criticism by releasing their new single 'Not Ready To Make Nice,' earlier this year. According the New York Post's Page Six, The Chicks' biggest detractor, FreeRepublic.com founder Jim Robinson, reportedly declined to appear in their documentary, "Shut Up and Sing."...

with photos by [Mrs]Trooprally, Upchuck, and GW student Luke Washington, DC, September 22, 2006-- It's a balmy Indian summer evening, and all four corners of the entrance to Walter Reed Army Medical Center are swarming with nearly 70 FReepers and a Freeping dog. A man in a red "Free Republic 10 Year Anniversary" ball cap takes in the scene from his vantage point near the Mother of All Banners on the northeast corner. It is Jim Robinson, Free Republic's founder, who flew in from California for this special Free Republic weekend in the nation's capital for honoring the troops. Photo...

Let us all celebrate the 10th year anniversary of Free Republic. I can honestly say that I have met more quality people here at FR, than I have in my personal endeavors....and my personal endeavors are all over the world. I also just want to thank my many friends I have made here at FR for their wit, intelligence, and friendship.

Jefferson MacAurther Dodge just knew that Ann Coulter was going to show up, but when he was handed an Ann Coulter Doll, he wasn't sure... It was a nice turn-out for Jeffers, who's running for the 47th seat to the California Assembly. When Ann arrived it simply lit up the room. Imagine that! From what I have been told about what Jeffors once did for Ann when she was in a debate in a hostile environment, this was a very nice way for her to have returned the favor. In attendence also was our Jim Robinson, accompanied by his own retinue. This was one of the few times I've had to speak with Jim in person, but the tumult circulating from the vicinity of Miss...

Jim Robinson and a bunch of FReepers are going Saturday July 22 to the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum in Simi Valley -- Come join us! Jim & Crew will probably arrive about noon and we'll have lunch, then most of us will tour as a group in the afternoon. At NOON, find the tables near the Berlin Wall display--there are tables where we can picnic. Bring Your Own--or bring enough to share! There is covered seating for 100, 1st come...

Soldiers, Marines and family members with loved ones serving in Iraq and around the world.Colonel Louis "Pete" Peterka gave a very moving talk which I will go into later. His Daughter was there and her son (his Grandson) Kevin is serving in Iraq at this time. That's Kevin's Mother in the center of the next picture. Just a reminder: Free Republic is a conservative site. We fight for conservative principles, values and causes. We defend the Constitution. We defend our borders. We defend our God-given rights. We are opposed to the liberal/socialist/Marxist agenda for America. We do not willingly give up ground to the Marxists. It's true that the illegal immigration issue is very discouraging, and I don't know if anyone has a solution that will appeal to conservatives and yet manage to get by Democrat obstructionism, ie, a filibuster, but I don't see that as any reason to give up everything. We should not allow...

Kerfuffles is undoubtedly one of the best blogs I've come across. The fact that it is a Virginia blog is just icing on the cake. I have laughed, shed a tear or two, thumped the keyboard in confirmation and have always come away informed and better equipped to take on the Dark Side. For instance: Neddy has dug up a disturbing Flash presentation created by the Council For Secular Humanism denouncing Bush's America as a fascist regime. Immediately after a few still shots of Hitler and minions they display what they consider to be the #1 sign of fascism illustrated...

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world. A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. Star Search, Townhall Style By Emily YeeDec 5, 2005Coming out of an election season of relatively minor importance to most of the nation, perhaps not many of us have felt the wave of patriotism, political mobilization, or grassroots enthusiasm that seems to occur most conspicuously only once every four years. But let me remind you that these qualities and activities do not get put on the backburners in between presidential elections. Whether or not they make the headlines every day is one issue, but the spirit of the responsible American citizen is quite another. Behind every major event or effort—and...
