The new Muslim co-leader of Germany's Oberammergau Passion Play is expected to bring a new perspective to the centuries-old Christian tradition, the play's chief director said Tuesday. Late on Monday, Director Christian Stueckl officially introduced Abdullah Kenan Karaca as his co-leader in staging the 2020 edition of the play, which tells the Christian story of Jesus' suffering and crucifixion once every 10 years in a tradition stretching back to 1634. "A new generation needs to come in," Stueckle said. "Of course he will look at it from a different vantage point." The 26-year-old Karaca, a native of Oberammergau born to Turkish parents,...

On Saturday evening, November 8, 2003, I addressed a free-standing feminist “networking” conference of mainly African-American and Hispanic-American women at Barnard College. The conference was sponsored by WERISE (Women Empowered through Revolutionary Ideas Supporting Enterprise), which was described as a grassroots, multi-cultural, multi-generational, and multi-disciplinary organization for women in the arts. The women ranged in age from 20 to 65 and were dressed in corporate business suits, colorful African and ethnic attire, and youthful jeans. A few days before the conference one of the organizers asked me about my most recent book and I told her it was The New...

The University of Michigan canceled a scheduled movie screening of “American Sniper” on Tuesday after nearly 300 students and others complained the film glorifies a “mass killer” and perpetuates anti-Muslim stereotypes. An online petition, titled a “collective letter from Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) and Muslim students on campus,” accused the school of “tolerating dangerous anti-Muslim and anti-MENA propaganda” by showing the Chris Kyle biopic, The College Fix reported. “The movie American Sniper not only tolerates but promotes anti-Muslim and anti-MENA rhetoric and sympathizes with a mass killer,” the letter reads. “Chris Kyle was a racist who took a...

When Republicans criticize Barack Obama’s foreign policy, their critiques usually break down into two broad themes: America’s enemies no longer fear us, and America’s allies no longer trust us. The part about our enemies fearing us is usually a reference to Russia – conservatives believe quite earnestly that Russia’s military expansionism over the last few years is a consequence of Vladimir Putin sizing up the president and determining that he’s a weakling. No less an authority than Peggy Noonan made this very argument just last Friday, lamenting “a Russian president who took the American’s measure and made a move, upsetting...

US President Barack Obama has said that a weakened Israel would be a “fundamental failure of my presidency,” claiming solidarity with America's long-time ally despite recent differences over the Iran nuclear deal. Obama admitted Israel has reason to be concerned about its foe, Iran, but he defended the framework agreement on Iran’s nuclear program that negotiators drew up last week. Obama made the comments to The New York Times in a 45-minute video interview on Saturday that was posted on Sunday, reports AFP. “I would consider it a failure on my part, a fundamental failure of my presidency, if on...

The hullabaloo over false information being propagated about Indiana’s Religious Freedom and Restoration Act (RFRA) reveals a much more serious underlying problem in America. Morality according to the 3 Percent (the gay community in America) is defined by imposing conformity, control, coercion, and oppression over those who disagree with their definition of equality, fairness, tolerance, or even love. The 3 Percent’s “outrage” cannot be about equal rights, as same-sex couples already benefit from civil unions, domestic partnerships, marriage, adoption and fostering children, in addition to receiving health benefits and other legal rights. Nor can it be about fairness. I recently...

NEW DELHI (AP) — A British documentary. A YouTube comedy clip. A book on Hinduism. Each offended some segment of Indian society, and each was banned or suppressed as a result. Over the last year, at least two books and two films have become off-limits in India. "The Satanic Verses" has been forbidden since the 1990s. And the film censor board has issued a list of unacceptable words. India is the world's largest democracy and has made huge economic leaps in the last few decades to become a key Asian power. And yet, as its official and unofficial bans show,...

These delusional blowhards who know nothing are driving the bus — right off the cliff. The State Department better put down that hookah pipe, or whatever it is they’re smoking. This is the poison fruit of Islamic infiltration of the DoS. Department Twitter account issues picture promoting Sharia law under guise of promoting free speech. Allah is the name of the moon god of Mohammed's Quraysh Tribe in Arabia. The religion that Mohammed dictated under the influence of Allah, Islam, is a perverse totalitarian homosexual death cult. The views espoused by Muslims are virtually identical to that of modern progressive liberals. Among those victimized by Islam, besides its enemies which are routinely sodomized prior to getting their heads cut off, are women and kids who are viewed as just a necessary nuisance to make more little sodomite death cult members. Islam merely takes every vial deed that depraved men commit and codifies it. Progressive liberals...
