Department Twitter account issues picture promoting Sharia law under guise of promoting free speech.
Early Wednesday morning, the State Department issued a tweet that included a picture promoting Sharia law over “man made law.” The image was captioned, “Muslims coming out inviting society to #Islam.” The tweet accompanying the photo spoke approvingly of free speech while saying ISIS does not support the concept.
“In open societies, all faiths enjoy freedom of speech; under #ISIS rule, no such thing as freedom of expression,” the tweet said. Many disapproved of the photo and schooled the State Department for the short message.
“You’re joking, right?” one person asked. “Shariah law: Inviting society to a lifetime (and death time for that matter) of slavery and misery,” another person added.
“Epic fail from the DOS,” a third critic said. “The people pictured do have free speech, but they would take it from others.”
Another person cited George Orwell’s line that some are more equal than others, while many scolded the State Department as “stupid.” One critic said the “incompetence of this administration never ceases to amaze me.”
An article at The Blaze said the @ThinkAgain_DOS Twitter account is the agency’s “English-language outreach program” and has been criticized in the past for being “ineffective” and “embarrassing.” According to SITE Intelligence Group Director Rita Katz, the effort, launched in December 2013, is not only embarrassing, it could also give Islamic extremists “a stage to voice their arguments.”
Katz also said the account has engaged in “petty disputes with fighters and supporters of groups like IS (also known as ISIS), al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab, and arguing over who has killed more people while exchanging sarcastic quips.” The account, she added, has been engaging in fruitless exchanges with jihadis “for some time now.”
The account has also raised other issues, according to Katz. “The State Department account is not only a gaffe machine, but in fact some of its tweets walk dangerous ethical lines,” she noted, citing instances where the account directly engaged an al-Qaeda official in a meaningless and somewhat childish Twitter exchange.
The tweet, ironically, failed to note that free speech is severely curtailed under Sharia law. The Blaze pointed out that Sharia law also “outlaws depictions of the Prophet Mohammad or speaking critically of the prophet.” Those who do speak critically of Mohammad could easily find themselves beheaded.

National Park Service produces videos praising Islam
A series of videos produced for the National Park Service shows American Muslim students blaming hatred against their faith on the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The story was first reported by Sancho Panza in the Independent Journal Review. The videos also promoted Islam as a pioneer in women’s rights and addressed a “general ignorance about what Islam is.”
“Islam within itself, Islam itself means peace,” the government video states. “Islam brings nothing but peace if you truly look into it.”
The video was posted on the website for the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. It was filmed at the AnNur Islamic School in Schenectady, N.Y. by a National Park Service intern.
According to the park’s website, the three-part series features children as they “discuss their experiences and challenges with negative Muslim stereotypes and assumptions.”
The National Park Service did not respond to questions about whether they’ve produced videos promoting other religions – like Christianity or Judaism.

The secular liberals at State reject the idea that US law is based in large measure upon Torah [1], which was a gift from God when He dictated it to Moses. They especially reject the core values of Torah which were written by God’ finger upon tablets of stone, twice! So, of course western values cannot be from God and are therefore “man’s law”.
What is strange to me is how easily secular liberals enshrine (?) Islam as somehow speaking with a higher authority. I think this reveals one of the dangers to society of the liberal mind, where the agenda always drives what constitutes “facts” at any given moment. For example that Islam is good and peaceful but values derived from the Bible are evil and hateful.

I have “truly looked at it”, and everywhere islam goes, violence follows. In the Middle East, in Europe, in Asia, in America-if they spread to Antarctica, they’ll enact jihad against the wildlife. It’s all they know-violence. if they don’t have non-Muslims to oppress and murder, they do it to each other.
Yet our American government promotes it and not a peep from the ACLU, Freedom From Religion, or the SPLC.
Because their true target isn’t “religion”, it’s Christians and heterosexual (normal) whites, especially white males. I wonder what world they think they’d be living in without white males. I’ve yet to see a woman fight for her right to pick up the garbage or work in the sewers.
Wherever it is, they have legalized pot...
