The organization behind an effort to raise Maine’s minimum wage to $12 an hour has been advertising for new workers at a rate closer to $10 an hour. The academic world, media, and social networks are very fond these days of asserting the notion of "White Privilege"... an apparent blanket accusation against an entire RACE of people. Just had FOX News on the past hour or so. They cannot get enough of the adulation for Muhammed Ali. I'm not creating the thread to debate the pros or cons of that position. Federal prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Dylann Roof, who is accused of killing nine people at a historic African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina, in July 2015.
