Sen. Lindsey Graham is calling on James Comey to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about his dinner with Donald Trump. Graham said on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday that the testimony will be necessary to “clear the air” in light of Trump’s tweets that he may have secretly recorded the conversation. The dinner between Trump and Comey took place at the end of January, just a week after Trump was sworn in as president. However, he also blasted Trump for the tweet and said he should refrain from commenting on the Russia investigation any further. “You can’t...

In conversations with multiple advisers, conducted on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, officials described to CNN a sense of dejection within the West Wing ranks, where most aides were caught off guard by Trump's decision and had little ability to develop a cogent response. Even Vice President Mike Pence, who found his public statements again undercut by Trump himself, was "a little rattled" at the events of the week, according to an administration adviser. Through it all, Trump has remained largely out of sight, not leaving the White House once since he returned late Sunday night. He grew...

SANFORD, FL—A newly formed health insurance company owned by a group of devoted Calvinists announced that they will not cover any health condition, since every condition of humankind was pre-existing and established by sovereign God before the foundation of time. The company, Total Deductibility, states clearly in its bylaws that “pre-existing conditions may not be covered, which include every possible ailment and so-called ‘accident,’ all of which God foreknew and predestined to occur prior to the existence of the client’s policy, and time itself.” The firm was thrilled when the new GOP health care law, which drops the requirement to...

After Barghouti instigated this latest hunger strike he was placed in solitary confinement, and unbeknownst to him, the IPS (Israel Prison Services) placed hidden cameras...

The liberal media is still coming to grips with how Hillary Clinton could have possibly lost to Donald Trump. After all, she is the “smartest woman” in any room she enters. Or at least that’s what The Hill’s Amie Parnes told host Charlie Rose on his PBS show on Wednesday night. Rose invited on Parnes and Roll Call columnist Jonathan Allen to promote their new book “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign” and asked the two to dissect the reasons for Clinton’s loss. For her part, Parnes cited Russia, James Comey and lack of enthusiasm by Bernie Sanders voters. Not...

Many urged resistance, while actor Ron Perlman even threatened California's Republican House members. Read a collection of the worst tweets social media posts below: Several celebrities, including Olivia Wilde and Amy Schumer, also sounded alarms over the fact that the AHCA would defund Planned...

Prince Philip took a lighthearted view on his retirement today as he joked: 'Well I can't stand up for much longer'. The Duke of Edinburgh made himself and a crowd of guests roar with laughter while with the Queen at an Order of Merit service at St James's Palace just an hour after announcing he will stop all public royal duties at the age of 95. Mathematician Sir Michael Atiyah was left in hysterics after stopping him to say: ‘I’m sorry to hear you’re standing down’, to which the Duke replied: ‘Well I can’t stand up much longer'. His well-earned...

Sometimes crossed signals can result in communication that go horribly and, in the case of comedian Chris Rock, hilariously wrong. What made the misunderstanding so funny is that it happened at the final White House party hosted by President Barack Obama. And the person with whom the signals were so horribly/hilariously misunderstood was First Lady Michelle Obama. Chris Rock revealed what happened on the May 2 Tonight Show while recounting the laugh error to host Jimmy Fallon.

The older a person gets, the less surprised by people they tend to be, or can be. Then along comes Richard Dreyfuss – a man I thought was a liberal actor and maybe he is, in the classic- liberal sense anyway. Here Mr. Dreyfuss is on Tucker Carlson’s show, ostensibly to debate Tucker. It didn’t happen, though, because Tucker didn’t disagree with a word Mr. Dreyfuss said. Watch below: Mr. Dreyfuss is concerned about: The constitution Civics lessons in school Political correctness killing the war of ideas What a refreshing interview. Here is a link to Richard Dreyfuss’ civics initiative....

During a discussion on CNN this morning of the health care mandate, radio host Michael Smerconish said, “The way in which you can afford to pay for people with pre-existing conditions is if you get a guy who’s a stud like Chris Cuomo who works out and is healthy, and get him into the pool.” From far rejecting Smerconish’s embarrassing bit of ingratiation, Cuomo engaged in some dabbing that would make Cam Newton proud. Veteran reporter Bob Woodward sent a message directed to President Trump late Saturday: "The media is not fake news." "The effort today to get this best obtainable version of the truth is largely made in good faith," Woodward said during remarks at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. "Mr. President, the media is not fake news." Woodward said during his speech that any president and his administration is "clearly entitled to the most serious reporting efforts possible." "We need to understand, to listen, to dig — obviously our reporting needs to get both facts and tone right," he said. "The...

We spoke to the author of 'The Ambivalent Internet' about the rise of the right online. Professor Whitney Phillips, author of This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, a book about trolling, has teamed up with Professor Ryan M Milner to pen another book about internet culture. The Ambivalent Internet is about how we express ourselves online, the ways in which we do it, why we do it and how it ends up the way it does. The book was written on the eve of Donald Trump's ascension to the world's highest office, and deals, in part, with the...
