Quanell X, the head of Houston’s New Black Panther Party and one of the agitators who has gone after everyone from George Zimmerman to Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, has almost always sided against the police in officer-involved shootings of suspects. He is now singing a different tune after personally going through “shoot/no shoot” training with the Missouri City Police Department. X played the role of a law enforcement officer responding to calls in a number of different scenarios, and had to chose whether to use his gun (a realistic training weapon that fires man-marker rounds), a taser, or not...

A Houston musician has been murdered by an illegal alien who had been allowed to stay in the United States, even though the alien had been convicted in Texas previously for selling narcotics. The suspect was killed by police following a second murder that he committed immediately after killing the musician. The illegal alien’s name was Victor Manuel Reyes. Court records indicate the alien was sentenced to five years for drug dealing in 2010 and had an immigration hold upon exiting prison. It is unclear at this time if he was deported and immediately came back in across the porous...

Lawmakers are now going public with their concerns that we could see a similar terror attack to what we saw in Paris last week. Some have even said publicly there could be sleeper cells here in the United States. And experts believe Houston remains a prime target for the bad guys. Patrick Poole is a terrorism and national security analyst for PJ Media, and told KTRH our oil and energy industry is what appeals to the terrorists. “Houston is a big sea trade center. You have the oil industry here. And you have a Jamaat ul-Fuqra compound near Houston,” Poole...

A Texas judge has rejected the city of Houston’s demand to deny a jury trial to pastors fighting a controversial transgender ordinance. The ruling, released late Tuesday by Judge Robert Schaffer in the Harris County District Court in Houston, came in a case in which the city created a firestorm of controversy by issuing subpoenas for copies of pastors’ sermons. In its latest motion, the city claimed the pastors have no right to a jury trial, contending the decision should be made by a hand-picked “special master.” The pastors are opposing an ordinance adopted by lesbian Mayor Annise Parker and...

Remember when Houston's lesbian mayor, Annise Parker, tried to subpoena five pastors' sermons in a case over the controversial transgender rights ordinance there? This same lesbian mayor is trying her level best to deny these pastors the right to a jury trial. She wants a "special master" to review the evidence. Here's the backstory, as Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) explains it: City officials got upset over a voter lawsuit filed after the City Council rejected valid petitions to repeal a law that allows members of the opposite sex into each other's restrooms. ADF attorneys jumped into the fray, contending the...

Houston's Lesbian Mayor Annise Parker is at it again after standing down on subpoenaing pastor's sermons. We had not heard from her for a few months after she got blasted by pastors and the public following the City Council's attempts to push through an unlawful "bathroom bill" and the city attorney's attempts to manipulate signatures in a petition against their illegal actions. However, that has changed. Now she is claiming that the pastors have no right to a jury trial and is calling for a "special master" to investigate. Though the city withdrew its subpoenas of the pastor's sermons,...

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- What's been found in a north Houston warehouse is astounding -- hundreds, if not thousands, of what appear to be medical records on abortions dating from 1992 to 2012. Esmeralda Cedillo found the records in her warehouse, which has been unused for the past seven years. She says the records -- which have sensitive information such as abortion details and Social Security numbers -- were discovered when her dog was on the warehouse property, tore up several files, and then dragged them outside. When she went inside, she discovered not only the records but containers of opioid...

Blaming a "medical mishap," New York millionaire Robert Durst pleaded "no contest" Tuesday to the charge of criminal mischief, a class C misdemeanor, after being accused of exposing himself and urinating inside a CVS store on Kirby in July. "Mr. Durst expressed his apologies to CVS for this unfortunate medical mishap," attorney Chip Lewis said in a prepared statement handed to reporters in court Tuesday. "He compensated them for the damage done and appreciates their understanding." Lewis said neither he nor Durst would comment further on the case. The real estate mogul did not attend the scheduled appearance in County...

“It seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAM/BLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what 13-, 14-, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world.” – Harry Hay, founder of the modern “gay rights” movement None of it matters: Neither common sense, nor an abundance of victim testimony, peer-reviewed studies, nor their own loathsome admissions and actions....

A legal training was scheduled at the Catholic Charities headquarters on November 3,2014. It was to help provide legal counsel ("pro-bono") on behalf of UAC's primarily arriving from Central American failed states. The CLE (continuing legal education) course was offered in exchange for representing at least one UAC client. The training is to enlighten the loopholes evolved from the UN Trafficking Agreement (TVPRA) signed by President Bush in 2000. In 2008, under President Obama, a more expansive and generous set of criteria were forwarded to ensure that the minors could gain the coveted "Best Interest Ruling" (not to be deported)...
