I've written about the hijacking of language by the Left and some of its manifestations. There are many other aspects of it, like the wounds inflicted on grammar by the use of "they", "them", "theirs" in reference to a singular subject. For example: "Everyone knows what they are doing" or "The user must log in with their password". This is done only because it's politically incorrect to use "he", "him", "his", to cover both men and women, as it allegedly gives men a status of superiority (the same as in saying "man" to mean "the human species"). In the online-only "Overtime" portion of his HBO show Real Time, host Bill Maher weighed in on the Mozilla controversy, and did not react in a way that you would think. A food catering worker in Brooklyn alleges in a lawsuit that Houston Rockets players heaved anti-gay insults his way while setting up a buffet in the team's locker room last season at Barclays Center, the Daily News reported Tuesday. An Albuquerque automobile dealership is agreeing to pay $2 million to settle a lawsuit alleging that dozens of male employees were subjected to same-sex sexual harassment and retaliation. A consent decree filed Thursday in federal court settles a 2011 suit filed by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Pitre (PEE'-tree) Inc., which does business as Pitre Buick. The suit alleged that managers subjected employees to sexual harassment that included solicitations for sex and grabbing. It also alleged that Pitre retaliated against workers who objected.
