No charges will be filed against Zachary Peters, the man who shot and killed three teenaged criminals who broke into his home, an Oklahoma prosecutor declared Monday. However, the woman who acted as getaway driver for the home intruders will be charged with first-degree murder. Investigators say that the 23-year-old Peters was alone in his house near Broken Arrow in Tulsa on March 27, when he used an AR-15 rifle to shoot Jakob Woodruff, Jacob Redfearn, and Maxwell Cook. For 21 years, John Croft lived in his Alabama home virtually problem-free until last summer. “I’ve been a prisoner in my house,” he said. Croft, who is 79, says the burglaries began last June. Since then, he says his Center Point house has been broken into 13 times. The most recent case came around 1:15 Wednesday morning.

Three would-be robbers were shot and killed Monday when an Oklahoma homeowner's son opened fire on them with an AR-15, authorities said. The homeowner told responding deputies two armed men wearing masks forced their way into the home. The homeowner said he was assaulted by the men but was able to get his gun and shoot at them. 16-year-old Hillside High School student Jalen Thompson Johnson was shot and killed early yesterday as he donned a mask, claimed to be a police officer, and tried to kick in the door of a Durham, NC apartment. Unfortunately for Johnston, the homeowner was not only also armed, he was a better shot. A teen was shot to death while trying to force his way into an apartment in Durham Monday morning, police said. The resident of the apartment was injured in the shooting.

MERIWETHER COUNTY, Ga. - An elderly woman who was beaten and burned inside her Meriwether County home has died weeks after the attack, the county's coroner confirmed to Channel 2 Action News. Two terrorists broke into the community of Eli, located in the Mateh Binyamin region, early Wednesday morning, where they attacked one of the local residents with a knife and clubs before fleeing the scene. COTTONWOOD-- Cottonwood Police have identified the man killed Friday night in what is being called a home invasion robbery. The man who was killed was one of the Phoenix-area men who reportedly attacked two Cottonwood men. When the alleged burglars attempted to enter the property, the boy killed one of them and scared off the other. One of the burglar's guns was identified as a Colt .45, and the weapon the boy used was unreported — except that the gun belongs to his mother, who owns it for self-defense.
