A 5-year-old Pennsylvania girl who told another girl she was going to shoot her with a pink Hello Kitty toy gun that blows soapy bubbles has been suspended from kindergarten. Her family has hired an attorney to fight the punishment, which initially was 10 days for issuing a 'terroristic threat.' But her punishment was reduced to two days after her mother met with school officials and had the incident dropped to 'threatening to harm another student,' which apparently carries a lesser punishment.

Gun manufacturers have been responding to a soaring interest from women with female-friendly 'purse pistols' in an array of trend-led colours and designs. Despite the concerns of anti-gun campaigners, there has been an 83 per cent rise in the number of women buying firearms for personal defence, and handbag-sized models are fast becoming a sought-after accessory across the U.S. Most weapon brands now offer a 'female-friendly' range that wouldn't look out of place in a toy shop, with many offering to customise pistols with pink paintwork and Swarovski crystals. And when Sarah Palin admitted to being a lifetime member of...

I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that Obama thinks Pelosi will go down as one of the finest speakers in the U.S. Whatever he's drinking I don't want any. It makes people delusional. Reid must drink the same. Why else would he think that "but for him" we'd be in a depression?

Don’t get us wrong, we love Judith Leiber’s funny clutches, but the Hello Kitty clutches made by the designer are selling for $4,000, and that sounds pretty insane. There’s lots more of Hello Kitty-themed accessories in this collaboration, and we don’t like them either.

When I first met the woman who became my wife, I was highly motivated to keep her, because she was the most wonderful, beautiful, decent woman I had ever met. As we began to know one another, I told her that I didn't want to dwell on one another's past, because the past simply was not relevant to the now. It may have seemed like a noble, romantic gesture on my part, but it was purely selfish. I had been a bit of a man-whore in my younger days and did NOT want it to affect any possible future with...

So called "Assault Weapons Bans" such as the now expired 1994 Clinton ban and the one still in place in states such as California seek to ban rifles that our misguided legislators feel have no purpose in civilian hands. They identify "evil features" they can use to generically classify these "military style" weapons in sweeping terms. Of course these features, such as plastic pistol grips, barrel shrouds, and bayonet lugs have absolutely nothing to do with the firearms potential lethality in the real world and are merely cosmetic features. After all, it really doesn't matter what color the firearm is...

Late for work? Hello Kitty! Cheat on your taxes? Hello Kitty! Kill some guy? Hello Kitty! Those Thai police, they know what for. Those bad-boy coppers know how to stick it straight to your fragile manly ego and twist that knife until you bleed and scream and whimper like an itty-bitty wide-eyed freckle-faced twinkle-toed girl. Oh yes they do. It's all about the fear, baby. All about the dire threat to the macho self-esteem. See, those cops have figured out what hunky men just like themselves really dread, and it turns out it's not gay sex and it's not peeing...

Police chiefs in the Thai capital, Bangkok, have come up with a new way of punishing officers who break the rules - an eye-catching Hello Kitty armband. The armband is large, bright pink and has a Hello Kitty motif with two hearts embroidered on it. From today, officers who are late, park in the wrong place or commit other minor transgressions will have to wear it for several days. The armband is designed to shame the wearer, police officials said. "This is to help build discipline. We should not let small offences go unnoticed," Police Colonel Pongpat Chayapan told Reuters...

Animal Shelter to provide cat meat for the Homeless. People are hungry, and we have to many cats on the streets. Why not feed the stray animals to our hungry homeless people? A few weeks ago the News & Record published an article about the mass murder of thousands upon thousands of itty bitty baby kittens. We mentioned it slightly here but didn't really jump into the subject. Now I am a pet lover, and the thought of my little fluffy kitty getting harmed or, eaten? Is alarming to me. But, I must concede, what makes a cat or dog...
