Schiff tucked an amendment into the National Defense Authorization Act that would prohibit any evidence collected in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act from being used in investigations. Why? Jeffrey Rosen had a secret on January 6, 2021. The then-acting attorney general—Rosen was appointed on December 24, 2020 to replace departing Attorney General William Barr—had assembled a team of elite and highly skilled government agents at Quantico, a nexus point between the FBI and U.S. military, the weekend before Congress met to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. At the same time he was rejecting President Donald Trump’s...

Karen Hinton — who first went public against Cuomo on March 6 — detailed the alleged incident during an interview on WNYC radio. "He approached me, embraced too tightly, too long and was aroused," Hinton said. "I felt extremely uncomfortable and actually shocked. Nothing had ever happened that way between the two of us."

An SAS officer armed with a shotgun has killed five jihadis during a dawn raid, it has been reported. The intense fire fight was over in just seven seconds, and quickly led to the militant group's surrender of the stronghold. The covert operation took place on an Islamic State outpost in Baghdad, Iraq. Several other terrorists emerged from the building but immediately surrendered and began panicking as two of the bodies didn’t have heads – they thought they were about to be executed.'

Emails published Tuesday by WikiLeaks suggest the Justice Department communicated with Hillary Clinton's campaign as the administration scrambled to deal with the fallout from her use of a private server. Brian Fallon, Clinton's campaign spokesman and a Justice Department alum, wrote in May 2015 that "DOJ folks" had tipped him off to an upcoming status hearing in a high-profile lawsuit that threatened to expose Clinton's 30,000 work-related emails to the public.

A single Wikileaks email [*a*] reveals that Peter Kadzik belongs in jail, not to mention the others who failed to report the crime. Look at all who were in on it: John Podesta personally emailed the tip to: 1. Hillary Clinton 2. Cheryl Mills 3. Another 'id'ed as 'H Samuelson' Mills 4. A number of others who had email accounts in 'Hillary Clinton Dot Com'. Podesta tipped them off that Peter Kadzik [the DOJ bigwig] had given him a 'heads up': [quote] There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil > Division will testify. Likely...

The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made –Groucho Marx I suspect the SEC, FINRA, and CFTC are big fans of Groucho Marx, or at least his observations on fair dealing. How else could they justify turning a blind eye to a global media powerhouse such as Reuters selling early access to market-moving information? How could these authorities not condemn a practice like high-frequency trading (HFT), which causes significant market disruptions on a daily basis and destroys investor confidence? Why would agencies that are charged with oversight of the most...

The fight has officially been brought to my front door Last night I was out with a buddy of mine. I got a text from my wife that the cops and dyfs are at the house and they wanna check out my guns and needed me to open my safe. I'm instantly on my way. I get in contact with evan Nappen on the way. I explain the situation. I walk in my house and hand the phone to the first cop I see. Then direct all of em outside. Dyfs got a call because of a pic on my...

...Telling his listeners that the polls indicated MittRomney would likely lose the Michigan primary, the conservative icon said he wouldn’t be surprised if Romney’s demise gives Gingrich yet another opportunity to be frontrunner. Another great performance by Gingrich in a debate could turn the race around once again, Limbaugh said. “I think there's a possibility of something happening nobody's talking about -- and that's the reemergence of Newt. Keep a sharp eye. Anything's still possible,” Limbaugh said. “If Romney has trouble in Michigan... Now, PublicPolicyPolling is a very liberal polling group out of North Carolina. They say that Romney's gaining...

A week from today, one in 10 New Yorkers who use debit cards will be red-faced at a retail checkout counter when their cards are declined. That's because Aug. 15 is the kickoff day for new federal rules requiring existing bank and credit union customers to opt in for debit-card and ATM overdraft coverage -- a massive change in banking regulation that many consumers have ignored or failed to notice. The choice for customers is this: Opt in to overdraft coverage, meaning you can use your debit card even if you overdraw your account, but pay a $20-$30 penalty every...

A small furniture manufacturer based in Arizona recently received a nexus survey — a questionnaire about the company's business activity — from the state of Washington. With just two retail customers in the Evergreen State and a lone sales rep making an annual visit there, the Arizona company returned the form and thought that was the end of the matter. No such luck. Washington assessed the Arizona furniture anufacturer "a substantial income tax," according to Marvin Kirsner, a tax attorney with Greenberg Traurig who represents the company. "One salesperson was there for a total of three days over four years....

PONTIAC - Livingston County authorities are investigating a gruesome and bizarre death today. A bystander in a parking lot in the 1000 block of West Reynolds Street called 911 about 4:30 a.m. today to report a tow truck driving erratically across two parking lots before it hit a sign and continued across a road into a ditch. When police arrived and inspected the vehicle, they found a decapitated body inside. They then found a human head in the parking lot where the caller first noticed the truck.

FIVE severed human heads were thrown onto a dance floor in a crowded disco in western Mexico, officials said. Authorities blamed the grisly scene on rival drug gangs. “Hooded men dressed in black stormed into a bar, fired into the air and threw down five heads,” said Rosaura Trujillo, a spokeswoman for the Michoacan state prosecutor's office. The men also left a card with the message: “The family does not kill for money. It does not kill women. It does not kill innocents. It kills only those who deserve to die. Everyone take note - this is divine justice.” According...

A vision system that helps soldiers plan a route through the chaos of the battlefield will undergo tests on both sides of the Atlantic. The system, called Primordial Soldier, will provide soldiers with a real-time picture of where troops are in relation to each other and a digital rendering of the route they should follow. It is about to undergo trials with US special forces and has been bought by the UK arm of MBDA Missiles. MBDA plans to carry out conceptual research on the system to learn how using such technology affects a soldier's decision-making capability in the field....

One of the strangest, and most useful, bombs employed in Iraq has been the concrete filled smart bomb (laser guided or JDAM). Why deliver a 500 pound bomb filled with concrete instead of explosives? You do that if you want to do some damage, but not a lot. Concrete JDAMs were first used in the 1990s to destroy anti-aircraft guns, radars and missiles that Saddam Hussein placed in residential areas. He believed that the Americans would not attack these weapons, for fear of hurting nearby civilians. But it turned out that a laser, or satellite (JDAM) guided concrete smart bomb...
