Conservative students in at least 13 cities across the country rallied for gun rights on Saturday in an attempt to counter months of protests from the student-led March For Our Lives gun control movement. Organizers with the March for Our Rights planned rallies in Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., among other cities, on Saturday, expecting modest turnout compared to the large-scale marches earlier this year in favor of tougher gun restrictions. Newsweek reported about 250 people were attending the California rally. Speakers at Saturday's events in Washington included NRATV host Cam Edwards. Former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh spoke at...

Judge Brett Kavanaugh, in the running to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, appears to share President Trump’s views on immigration and protecting the American worker. In two dissenting opinions and one concurring opinion for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, Kavanaugh sided with American citizens and U.S. industry over illegal aliens and foreign competitors — opinions that align to Trump’s “America First” approach to the U.S. economy, immigration, worker protections, and trade.

God Squad I: It takes unmitigated gall of the most classic kind to toss God Almighty into the Gun Rights mix, and that’s what Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo had when he appointed himself ‘Supreme God Squad One’ within hours of the Santa Fe High School massacre, which claimed 10 student lives and injuring 10 more, including John Barnes, a retired Houston police officer who was working as a high school resource officer at Santa Fe High. “God hasn’t instructed me to believe that Gun Rights are bestowed by him” is Chief Acevedo’s take on the latest shooting, somewhat akin...

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming school district where U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos suggested that teachers might need to be armed to protect children from grizzly bears voted Tuesday on doing just that, though concerns about school shootings worry parents more than the possibility of big bruins on the prowl. The 4-2 vote by the Park County School District No. 6 board in the town of Cody near Yellowstone National Park came after more than six months of discussion and debate. Under the proposed policy...

Gun rights activists rally at state capitols nationwide Yahoo News Photo Staff April 14, 2018 Gun rights supporters gathered at the state Capitol in Atlanta for one of dozens of rallies planned at statehouses across the U.S. According to The Associated Press’ count, more than 135 attended the rally Saturday, and more were arriving. Most of them were armed and some held signs as they listened to speeches. A few people wearing “Black Lives Matter” T-shirts made videos, but didn’t interact with the ralliers. The rallies come less than three weeks after hundreds of thousands marched in Washington, New York...

The Parkland shooting incited protests calling for gun control that gained medial attention as lawmakers looked for ways in order to respond to the shooting and prevent future shootings from happening. Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor candidate, is arguing that he would’ve vetoed the controversial gun bill that Governor Rick Scott signed into law. The bill drew protests form the NRA because it raised the purchasing age of a firearm from 18 to 21 and it banned “bump stock” attachments. The bill also drew some opposition from gun control activists because it called for certain school staff to be properly trained...

Let’s talk a bit about the initial premise of the walkout – #StopTheViolence. What, exactly, does that mean? Should we stop killing each other as a society? Who can argue against that? There are probably tens of thousands of laws on the books – one going all the way back to 1,300 BC that says something like “Thou Shalt Not Kill!” I am in full agreement, as is virtually everyone else, with the exception of that person who is intent on killing . . . and evil seldom listens to any voice but its own.

Well, it was not a good day for the stock market and it wasn’t a good day for gun rights. A federal judge decided to uphold a law that already strengthened the state’s ban on so-called assault weapons. The judge went on the whole weapons of war tangent in his opinion (via Bloomberg) Massachusetts’ beefed-up ban on assault weapons doesn’t violate the Second Amendment of the Constitution, a U.S. judge ruled, handing a victory to gun-control advocates seeking to pass such a law nationwide following a spate of deadly mass shootings."The AR-15 and its analogs, along with large capacity magazines,...

Did we take the red pill or the blue pill? Did we fall down the rabbit hole or not? What does a scanner see? The liberal news media has convinced themselves and their allies that no one is advocating the repeal of the Second Amendment; they just wrote several op-eds about it. This is all part of fever dream conservatives are suffering in the wake of the tragic Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February; the Left has made this diagnosis through their computer screens. No one wants to strip gun rights. It’s all a dream—sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Fortunately, the...

Once again, we’re reminded how the Left just hates us, and that they can’t be trusted on gun control. Enough with the lies that they just want common sense gun control. They either want to lay down the foundation to ban and confiscate guns, or they just want to kill you—or at least joke about it. In North Carolina, a Democrat running for sheriff joked about just that during a meeting with Moms Demand Action. The race is in Buncombe County (via NTK Network): Video Democrat Daryl Fisher, a candidate for Buncombe County Sheriff in North Carolina, joked that he...

Oh, this is just too good—and it shows why we can’t sit down and talk with these people. Turning Points USA’s Charlie Kirk suited up and went into the belly of the beast to ask those participating in the March to Take Away Our Rights, I mean, the March To Save Our Lives, by asking anti-gunners what an assault rifle is, which devolved into a shouting match since they couldn’t define it. One woman asked if Kirk was stupid or failed to read the papers, which is hilarious since the news media, at least in Florida, has written about how the...

The anti-gun Left tried to push expanded background checks and failed. Now, they’re harping on increasing the age limit to buy long guns to 21; it’s 18 in most states. Florida recently passed a law that increased the age limit, with President Trump jostling with increasing the age at the federal level. Of course, this is a gross infringement on Second Amendment rights, but the pro-gun control crowd is pushing it. Why the hell not. They’ve had some legislative success here. Yet, the complete ignorance of basic firearms knowledge has led to them stepping on a rake again, with Moms Demand...

Guy wrote an excellent interview with Parkland shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv, who isn’t going around with fellow peers, Cameron Kasky, David Hogg, and Emma Gonzalez pushing the anti-gun agenda of the far left. He describes himself as politically conservative and a Second Amendment supporter: "I'm a very strong Second Amendment supporter and I will continue to be throughout this entire campaign." he tells me.  "As of right now, my main goal is to meet with legislators and represent to them that there are big Second Amendment supporters in our community. Through this entire thing, my number one concern has been...

"They use their movie stars and singers and comedy shows and awards shows to repeat their narrative over and over again....All to make them march. Make them protest. Make them scream 'racism' and 'sexism' and 'xenophobia' and 'homophobia.'"

President Donald Trump embraced Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) gun control bill but rejected Rep. Steve Scalise’s (R-LA) push for national reciprocity during a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers Wednesday afternoon. After listening to Sen Chris Murphy (D-CT), Trump looked at toward the end of the table and asked Sens. Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) to detail their gun control bill. The Manchin/Toomey gun control bill is the same universal background check legislation supported by Barack Obama in the wake of the heinous attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School. It the very bill that was defeated in the Democrat-controlled...

It sounds like President Trump is supporting Manchin/Toomey universal background check bill. Does anyone else get that impression?

You know there were some who thought the media was actually making steps towards improving their pervasive and appalling ignorance on basic gun facts. Like knowing the difference between automatic and semi-automatic firearms, while also knowing that the latter constitutes the vast majority of guns in America. Semiautomatic is a self-reloading firearm. It fires one round per trigger pull. Once a round is fired, the energy pushes the slide back, ejecting the casing, while the next round in the magazine is pushed up and chambered as the slide comes back. The video below of a Beretta 92 9mm (the gun...
