The Oregonian/OregonLive reports the mishap happened Sunday night when Nicholas J. A 32-year-old man who threatened to harm his ex-girlfriend was shot in the groin by her while breaking into her Grants Pass home early Monday and later arrested, police say. Michael L. Fouch was taken to a hospital for treatment and then booked into the Josephine County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and menacing, according to the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety. A woman walked in on her boyfriend having sex with another woman early Tuesday morning and vowed to go home and get a gun, police said. She made good on her promise, police say, returning to the house where she found her boyfriend and shooting him once in the groin as he sat in a lawn chair in the front yard of a south Wichita house at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. A Surry County man shot another man in the groin Friday during an incident in the Toast community, authorities said. No charges have been filed.
