WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Secret Service is investigating what they’ve deemed a credible threat against President Joe Biden’s life. Yesterday, while Biden was out getting ice cream, a figure in a black cloak holding a scythe appeared and pointed a finger at Biden while saying, “Your time is near.” “We’ve identified the individual as the Grim Reaper,” said Mitchell Armstrong, a spokesman for the Secret Service. “He’s apparently motivated by the fact that the president is super-duper old and feeble.” Handling the threat won’t be easy, as apparently, the Grim Reaper is supernatural, and normal walls won’t stop him. “We’re in the...

[snip] McConnell ( didn’t think) the Democrats’ second impeachment push was political in nature, he wanted Trumpism ( purged from the party) and was floated to be (a possible vote to convict). He was furious with Trump for costing the GOP the Senate. There was a lot of noise. And then, he had a ( "come to Jesus" moment,) probably because he saw how the base views the former president.

The Florida attorney who dressed as the Grim Reaper in an attempt to shame beachgoers into going home amid the coronavirus pandemic is championing a new cause -- and seemingly defying his own advice. In recent days, Daniel Uhlfelder has posted several photographs and videos to his Twitter account of himself attending crowded protests held in response to the death of George Floyd. "Defuniak springs, Florida. Huge crowd. Stay hopeful and stay strong," he posted Sunday from a rally in the Florida panhandle.

One thing that comes with being in politics for awhile: a thick skin and a sense of humor, both of which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has. Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently took shots at McConnell, calling him the Senate's "grim reaper" because he refuses to bring Democrats' ridiculous legislation before the entire chamber. "Leader McConnell seems to take great pride in calling himself the ‘Grim Reaper.' It’s part of his political campaign," Pelosi said. During an appearance on Fox News' "Ingraham Angle," McConnell said he agreed with Pelosi. “She’s got it right. For the first time in my memory,...

Question What happens to a U.S. presidential candidate if he/she dies after their respective political party grants them the nomination, and before they are elected? Are there bylaws set up by each individual party that provide procedures for this? Also, is there a historical precedent in U.S. history where this may have happened in the past? Answer No presidential candidate of a major party has ever died or withdrawn before a presidential election and no President-elect has ever died or withdrawn after winning the general election, but before taking office. However, one vice-presidential candidate died after he was nominated, but...

It is not often that I agree with Geraldo Rivera, but recently he said something very practical and potentially life-saving, when he urged black and Hispanic parents not to let their children go around wearing hoodies. There is no point in dressing like a hoodlum when you are not a hoodlum, even though that has become a fashion for some minority youths, including the teenager who was shot and killed in a confrontation in Florida. I don't know the whole story of that tragedy, any more than those who are making loud noises in the media do, but that...
