A video has recently surfaced of Marilyn Mosby, the district attorney responsible for charging six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, making an appearance on the popular arbitration court series “Judge Judy” more than a decade ago. The video dates back to the early 2000s, in the show’s fifth season, when Mosby was in college and still going by her maiden name, Marilyn James. Mosby was on the program with a rather bizarre case: She was suing business owner Ryan Johnson for damages to the apartment she lived in while at college.

A plan that will close nearly 2,000 miles of public roads that have previously been open for use by the people of Mesa County is creating a public backlash against the Grand Junction field office of the federal Bureau of Land Management. Now that Oregon’s SB 941 has been signed by the Governor, gun rights activists have banded together and are organizing a facebook event page for a rally entitled “SB 941 I Will Not Comply Demonstration“. The rally is set for May 30th, at the Capitol building in Salem, and will feature a host of speakers. In the wake of the tragic murders of two Michigan children whose mother tortured them before stuffing them into the family’s freezer, lawmakers are calling for more stringent regulation of homeschooling in the state.
