Not many people in Britain have followed the Hobby Lobby case, named after the American company that won an important battle for religious freedom against the bullying of the totalitarians - in this episode feminazis and supporters of state intervention in personal affairs. In this area the United States seems more progressive in the true, not socialist, sense, and less prepared to submit to cultural Marxism's oppressive demands. Hobby Lobby is a company owned by Christians. At issue was whether, according to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), better known as Obamacare, "closely held companies like Hobby Lobby could be...

Speaking at the Western Conservative Summit at Colorado Christian University on Saturday, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) made the case for the undocumented immigrant children flowing over the American-Mexican border to be sent to places liberals are known to dwell. “Notice they (law enforcement officials) are not hauling illegals to those swanky ‘hoods of D.C. or Manhattan or San Francisco,” Palin said. “They’re housed in vacant schools in working class neighborhoods? Why not [unintelligible] and Columbia U? There, too, school’s out for summer.” Palin also dubbed the border situation an “invasion” that has been facilitated by President Barack Obama....

We exist in a vast sea of ignorance and lack of understanding in regards to history, politics, and ideology. Not to mention the implications of each upon our nation and civilization. Perhaps we should not be surprised that large segments of society can’t put the Civil War in the correct century or begin to find major countries on a map. There are entire political ideologies that rely on that mind-numbing, and sometimes frightening, misunderstanding and basic ignorance that a significant portion of society manifests as a source for their power and strength. I find liberalism/progressivism to be little more than...

On July 8 I received the Climate Science Whistleblower Award at the Ninth International Conference on Climate Change sponsored by the Heartland Institute and other cosponsoring organizations held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The following are remarks I prepared for my acceptance statement:~~snip~~I wrote my negative comments on the Endangerment Finding support document because I believed EPA was using bad science ... But it is very encouraging to find that others agree with my decision to do so, which EPA clearly did not. My offending comments to EPA led to my being immediately muzzled at the same time that Obama was...

Obama Lies,” “Impeach Obama” signs were held high by protestors this weekend in the Make Them Listen nation ALIPAC demonstrations against the off-loading of illegal Central American migrant children into American towns and neighborhoods. At the West Palm Beach, FL I-95 overpass, a veteran wearing camo and combat boots held high a large white bullhorn and blasted out over the railings to southbound drivers how he felt about what Barack Obama is doing to the vet’s beloved America. As the bullhorn blared out chants, patriots lining Okeechobee Boulevard answered in cadence to calls to stop the dumping! Americans for Legal...

Renewable energy, particularly wind and solar, continues to set records for electicity generation and installed capacity in many parts of the world, and as shown in Figure 1 wind and solar growth in recent years has indeed been quite spectacular:~~snip~~If decarbonization is to be achieved by expanding renewables the expansion will have to come in wind, solar and biomass. So let’s take hydro out and see how far growth in wind, solar and biomass has carried us along the decarbonization path so far:Clearly they still have a long way to go.

We’ve never had a “community organizer” as our President before. And we are seeing the disastrous consequences of putting this community organizer at the head of the most powerful nation in the world. He has taken the apparatus of government and used it solely to organize, or as he calls it, fundamentally transform, the nation into a characterization of his ideal world.

It is no surprise that young people are enamored of communism. Their teachers have been indoctrinating them for years into the utopia of “social justice,” “environmental justice,” the “evil” middle class, and the spectacular equality for all as envisioned by Marx, Engels, and Lenin. Communism is “cool” in the land where wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt is a hypocritical political statement made while enjoying capitalist amenities. But we expect them to mature eventually and give up the absurdity that communism has not succeeded because the wrong people were in charge.

While frightened little school children in Israel hide under their desks during Palestinian rocket attacks, street mobs in the rest of the world are chanting “Israel must die, long live Palestine” over and over again in raucous voices growing louder. With Israel under attack, Palestinian protesters in Paris, London and in North American cities like Chicago and Calgary took to the streets in clockwork fashion. The protesters never have to duck from physical harm. They count on total impunity in the democratic settings where they conduct their activism.

Former President Bill Clinton said his wife Hillary Clinton needs time to think about her message to voters would be is she runs for president in 2016. She "really does need some time to think through this,” now that her memoir Hard Choices has been published, he said in an interview with CNN. "We've reached a point in our life when we think you really shouldn't run for office if you don't have a clear idea of what you can do and a unique contribution you can make and you can outline that," Clinton added. "Now that the book is...

Artist sends the National Spy Agency a super-encrypted “mixtape.” So why would Huerta create a mixtape no one else could open? Well for one, there’s no worry that someday he’ll regret sending our nation’s protectors a whole bunch of mushy love songs that will sound really, really cheesy 10 years from now. Oh, and there’s this, which he posted on his Medium blog: “The NSA can read my stupid Facebook updates but without my consent it will never be able to listen to my kick-ass mix tape, even if it’s sitting right in front of them.” ------(Snip)------ So what would...

Tesla Motors makes beautiful, quality electric automobiles. Don't just take it from us; Consumer Reports rated the Tesla Model S the "best overall" car in its 2014 Top Picks report (which includes all non-electric cars as well). Yet, despite Tesla CEO Elon Musk's ongoing effort to expand his EV empire, state after state in the United States is pushing back. Not because those states are against electronic vehicles, Musk or even Tesla; it's about the way Tesla wants to sell its cars. Specifically, it's about money. WHAT TESLA WANTS You know how Apple has stores where it sells its computers,...

U.S. Border Patrol agents on the American side of the Rio Grande were forced to take cover Friday night when high-caliber weaponry was fired at them from the Mexican side of the river, sources told FoxNews.com. Border Patrol sources confirmed Gohmert’s account, and said the shots may have been fired by .50-caliber...

While enlistment rates in the U.S. military vary by group, they also vary by state. Enlistment ranges from less than 3 per thousand in North Dakota to more than 7 per thousand in Florida and Maine. According to the Defense Department, differences exist at the regional level as well. In 2013, 44% of all military recruits came from the South, despite it having only 36% of the country’s 18-24 year-old civilian population. By contrast, the Northeast was the most underrepresented region of the country; only 14% of new enlistments came from this area, compared to 18% of its 18-24 year-old...

Hamas claimed it captured an Israeli soldier Sunday on the deadliest day yet in the battle between Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza. The solider was taken during an early morning operation, according to Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas' military wing, al-Qassam Brigades. He provided the supposed soldier's name and ID. "He is a prisoner, and if Zionists lie about the dead and wounded, then the fate of this soldier is their responsibility," the spokesman said. Gunfire and cheers erupted in Gaza in apparent celebration of the soldier's capture, according to CNN reporters on the ground. There was no...

Angry veterans protested President Obama’s visit to Delaware to show their disdain for how the administration has treated them. The 25 protesters — led by Martin Nicholson, a veteran Marine – lined the street and turned their backs to the president’s passing motorcade. “We feel he’s turned his back on us veterans, so we’re going to turn our backs on him as he drives by on his motorcade to show our appreciation that he does not care about us veterans,” Nicholson told BuzzPo.com. Obama was in Delaware to discuss a recently damaged bridge, a topic the protesters call a waste...
