Armed protesters stood guard on Tuesday at an Atlanta-area Wendy's, the site where Rayshard Brooks, a black man shot twice in the back by an Atlanta police officer, died earlier this month. Earlier in the day, a group of people had "taken over" the burned-out property in South Atlanta, according to local reports. People living in the area also have complained that the protesters who remained were no longer peaceful, but instead were using the space for their own gain and at times blocking people on the street from getting by. They claimed the Atlanta police weren't doing much to...

A jaw-dropping video appears to show a crowd of thieves looting TVs from a moving train near Chicago on Sunday as protests over the death of George Floyd rage. The footage, posted on YouTube Tuesday, shows dozens of people climbing aboard the snail-paced cargo train and raiding boxes of big screen TVs. Some of the crooks then hop off the train and flee. “The train is moving. The train is moving bro, look … These folks are stealing,” a man shooting the footage can be heard saying. Titled “Protesters Loot TVs Off Moving Train In Chicago,” the video has also...

The Seattle Bike Brigade, a group of cyclists who have provide security for protesters amid local demonstrations, had blocked off an alleyway near 9th Avenue and Virginia Street. The aim was to protect mostly teenage protesters participating in a march for racial justice last Wednesday, June 10, in downtown. A white man, driving a black Honda Civic, reportedly demanded that the cyclists move from his path so he could access his residence at a nearby condominium complex. Part of that confrontation was filmed and shared on Twitter and Facebook by Robert Svercl, a member of the bike brigade. "Get the...

Editor's Note: This piece was co-authored by Jim McCoy. Eldridge Cleaver may have died at age 62 on May 1, 1998, but you would think that he was organizing and leading the national riots about George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks. Black Lives Matter has now become the new Black Panther Party. The mainstream media are now lionizing these riots just as they did in 1968 after Cleaver wrote Soul on Ice when the New York Times writer Lindsay Patterson effused that the work was brilliant and revealing, in an article titled "Eldridge Cleaver: Post-Prison Writings and Speeches."It has been 52...

Westbound traffic on the Bay Bridge was at a standstill Sunday evening for nearly two hours after all lanes were blocked by protesters. Multiple local news outlets reported that protesters spray-painted "BLM," the initials to Black Lives Matter, onto the bridge in yellow before being stopped by authorities. There were no reports of violence. The CHP reportedly said it arrested some of the protesters, who were in a caravan of about 50 vehicles. The backup began around 4:30 p.m. and continued for well over an hour. At 6:25 p.m., only a trickle of vehicles were moving past the protest scene...

Flag-bearing Americans caused an uproar within Seattle’s “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” (CHAZ) as they tried to enter the area to protest Saturday afternoon, according to Daily Caller reporters on the ground. Katie Daviscourt and a man who asked to be referred to as Maximus X arrived at the outskirts of CHAZ, the area that has been taken over by protesters and deemed a cop-free zone, with two giant American flags Saturday. The duo was accused by some of being white supremacists and members of the right-wing organization Proud Boys, but they both said they were simply there to show support...

Be honest, if we let the mutant mob have Seattle, would you really miss it? We’ve already gotten all the good music out of it, coffee is everywhere, so what else do they bring to the table? If you feel as though you missed your chance to visit the Space Needle, they have a similar enough tower in Toronto. And you can catch scabies in any number of third world countries with much better climates. So I say, let them have it. For that matter, give them the whole state. They inflicted Microsoft on the country, so think of leaving...

The worst of the looting, arson, and vandalism seems to have dissipated, but it has transitioned to rioting in the public policy realm. A puerile mob, with support in the media, is pushing for the elimination of police unions. Many Americans, probably a majority, want to see reforms made in policing. That’s a noble cause. From banning chokeholds to expanding bodycam use to instituting liability insurance requirements, there are plenty of solid reforms that towns, cities, and states should strongly consider sooner than later. Those and other sorts of policy changes could be opportunities for restoring unity and trust in communities across...

A 25-year-old Tacoma woman was arrested Thursday morning on five federal counts of arson after police say she burned five Seattle police vehicles on fire as protests turned violent in downtown Seattle on May 30. U.S. Attorney Brian T. Moran said in a news release that Margaret Aislinn Channon was taken into custody without incident at her Tacoma home. Channon is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Seattle on Friday. Arson is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. “This defendant was captured by multiple cameras using an accelerant, lit like a blowtorch, to start fires in five vehicles...

MINNEAPOLIS—Ever since protesters flooded the streets following the killing of George Floyd in police custody, residents here have wondered: Who burned down so many businesses in the Twin Cities, and why? While a few arrests have been made so far, the question continues to go largely unanswered. “It’s perplexing as can be,” said Cam McCambridge, co-owner of a Minneapolis building that housed Family Dollar and O’Reilly Auto Parts stores before it collapsed in an overnight inferno during rioting two weeks ago. The widespread destruction across much of Minneapolis and St. Paul sets the Twin Cities apart from other flare-ups of...

What comes of a nation whose newspaper of record publicly caves to overwhelming pressure and repudiates an opinion piece written by a duly elected leading national legislator who boasts degrees from the nation's most famous educational institution, has undeniably relevant life experience on the subject and advances an argument supported by a majority of citizens? America is about to find out. Last week, The New York Times, in perhaps the single most appalling bout of journalistic malpractice this century, reneged upon an op-ed by Sen. Tom Cotton about a dusty piece of federal legislation, the Insurrection Act of 1807, that...

The National Pulse can reveal the Black Lives Matter website – the organization spearheading nationwide “defund the police” campaigns – is partnered with ActBlue, a Democrat fundraising platform that is the top donor to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, responsible for raising nearly 99.64 percent of the Biden for President effort. While the Biden campaign insists it doesn’t support efforts to defund the police, it may happily profit from Black Lives Matter (BLM) efforts, and is complicit in taking money from an organization partnered with those spearheading the dangerous policy that has already taken root in Minneapolis, New York, and...
