Okay Free Republic has been the best place for libertarian and conservative ideas for decades. And truly my place to post and view comments. X is more evolved and many also love that forum. Any suggestions that could keep FR relevant. It seems it will be a 'dinosaur' of the 90's if nothing changes. To be clear - FR is truly the best website. Simply stating it may be gone soon - 'can't fence time and change'.

Need help, I like using duck duck go, was good for more than a half a year. Then got small and can't change it back. As it is now it unreasonable.

Just wondering what would happen if FR ceased to exist. Talk about a lifestyle change. Inflation is roaring and taking a trip is much more costly. Groceries - fegedaboudit. Brandonomics is hitting everyone very hard. And that's even before buying that very first mandatory EV! Times are tough for everyone.

In the past couple of years I have noticed there is a complete lake of regard for other posters on this site. Not only that but swearing seems to be tolerated. In the past day I have been called gay, a lair, that I am talking out of my *** and I am full of ****. Do we even have to go into the fighting on any thread about Ukraine or Russia. Even hard facts from multiple sources no longer seem to matter. Instead it is whoever can come up with the snarkiest reply.

I've been asked to chime in, so I'm chiming. But you're not gonna like it. The state of discourse on FR is totally up to you. You know the guidelines and rules. I don't need to repeat them again and again and again. We are mostly adults here and mostly Christian conservatives. We all know how to behave in a mixed public setting. There's been another internal email leak from a Pfizer ‘whistleblower’ to top off the testimony from Pfizer reps to Senator Malcolm Roberts at a recent Senate hearing in Australia. Freepers did an OUTSTANDING job in Q1 when Free Republic had to collect almost $20,000 in TEN DAYS to make the budget! Many donated even though it 'hurt' and some FReepers even donated TWICE to get us across the finish line - we couldn't have made it without that kind of loyalty and generosity. Amazing.
