Troopers said Jesus Fernandez was driving north in the outside lane of Interstate 95 around 6:30 p.m. when he saw another semitrailer parked on the side of the road. Fernandez said he attempted to move over but there was traffic in the lane next to him. Fernandez swerved back into the outside lane and his trailer sideswiped the semitrailer on the side of the road.
