First off I don't believe waiting for the convention to announce the choice makes much sense. Way too much work to be done to wait around. Putting personal opinion aside the best candidate for VP is Rubio. A few reasons here. First choosing a black VP to swing the black vote. We have past experience on this, Mike Steele when he ran as senator and more recent with Bernie and Hillary. Even though our hearts would like to see the black vote swing it is entrenched and continues to vote Hillary. The risk to benefit is not a good one...

The young cybersleuth says he exposed security lapses on Florida elections websites, but the state says he committed a crime. David Levin, 31, of Estero, a political consultant and owner of a computer security firm, was booked Wednesday on three felony charges of unauthorized access to computer systems. Police say a computer programmer studying at FIU hacked into the American Airlines accounts of travelers and stole $260,000 worth of frequent flyer miles. Milad Avazdavani, 27, was jailed for a year on 19 felony counts including grand theft, according to CBS4 media partner The Miami Herald. Police say Avazdavani used the frequent flyer miles to take trips around the world and to rent cars. Avazdavani, an Iranian who was a student at Florida International University, tells the Herald he is a victim of “bargain shopping” on the internet.
