OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin said Wednesday she supports Republican Donald Trump "100 percent" and offered her enthusiastic endorsement of the New York billionaire in his bid for the presidency.

The two-term governor, who had been mum on her pick for president, said her priority is to elect a conservative, pro-business Republican who is strong on national defense, and that she believes Trump is that candidate.

She does not seem to be very popular but she s strong on immigration. No opinion just throwing it out there. Any fellow freepers in OK want to chime in?

Sounds promising. Only down side is that Oklahoma is thee most conservative state and therefore she offers zero help in the quest for electoral votes.

The Bushs won’t endorse him, he tarnished the monarchy

well she’s a woman and was in congress, let governor and now Governor. she meets the criteria to balance the ticket...or many will say that

she is certainly qualified but has run a deficit in OK and OK has education problems from what I’m reading and people are pissed

we really need someone who can help us take a state. hard, i know.

DONT laugh, and not that i agree, but i wouldn’t be shocked to see Christie picked.

he got 20 percent of black vote last election

Women would help in every state. I hate picking because of gender but she is qualified and believes 100 percent in the wall. Christie is losing popularity in NJ from what I hear.

I really think it’s going to be her at this moment but I don’t know much about her just from some research. I could be off easily

From your analysis, she does have an excellent resume—but apparently not a great track record as far as results are concerned. Perhaps, as you point out, her popularity at home is prompting her to seek outside opportunities. Not sure right off about her status for re-election in Oklahoma.
BTW, I really think Marco Rubio checks most of the boxes Trump needs. He needs a teammate to deliver Florida (his second home state) as well as someone to appeal to Latinos/Hispanics. I know Rubio is weak on immigration but maybe he can adapt enough so as to echo Trump’s platform on this central issue. Rubio is a darling of the establishment and is charismatic. I just hope he doesn’t have any more meltdowns; he only has to survive the one vice presidential debate!!! Rubio ran strong in Virginia’s D.C. suburbs and could help in that battleground swing state. Finally, he’ll be an asset in places like Arizona and California.
BTW, my first choice is California Congressman Duncan Hunter, JR. I like his speaking manner and presence on camera.

She adds another blonde to his collection...
not saying that is a bad thing...

I heard him say he needs a person who can deal with generating and moving legislation in line with his stated policies.

I am not sure who that would be.

Christie is a terrible idea. I wish people would stop suggesting it.

Fallin as personal problems and OK is not looking so great as a resume-enhancer.

But I am still interested in her.

I’m going to search for speeches/debates on youtube to get an idea how she looks and sounds.

I thought Christie would be a good choice as well.

Trump said he wanted someone political, and someone who could take over. I know he admires Christie for being a fighter.

I realize there are issues with Christie regarding 2nd amendment and the big O hug, but I think that Christie will see things Trump’s way. I think the bravery of Trump and the subsequent admiration of his strength will embolden Christie to join Trump’s thinking rather than walk the politically correct line.

FWIW, Laura Ingraham thinks Christie would be good as well.

She must be a liberal if she is endorsing Trump.

Christie couldn’t even carry his own State.

I think she’s a perfect match for the orange-tinted windbag. Both would not know a conservative if it bit them on their bloated backsides.

“Christie couldn’t even carry his own State.”

If you’re referring to the primaries, his state hasn’t voted yet (though, obviously, it will go Trump).
