You heard it hear first. Hopefully Drudge will pick it up in less than 24 hours. Repeat... Roger Stone said Cruz via Attorneys told Rubio he will drop out for SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the U.S.) Appointment I have no links, and I guess we will see if it rolls out in the news.

Donald Trump's account of the Iraq War is all wrong. Why aren't his Republican opponents saying so? Donald Trump constantly brings up Iraq to remind voters that Jeb Bush supported his brother's war, while Trump, alone of the Republican candidates, supposedly opposed it well before it started. That is a flat-out lie. There is no evidence that Trump opposed the war before the March 20, 2003 invasion. Like most Americans, he supported the invasion and said just that very clearly in interviews. And like most Americans, Trump quickly turned on a once popular intervention - but only when the postwar...

Representatives from DraftKings and the Fantasy Sports Trade Association attended a public hearing in Boston on Tuesday to debate proposed regulations aimed at ending “unfair and deceptive acts and practices that may arise in the gaming process.†While the daily fantasy sports (DFS) companies have previously expressed a willingness to work with legislators and law enforcement officials to create industry-wide regulation, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey's regulations might prove seriously damaging to their bottom line, especially if they end up being replicated in other states.

Did you know that the Millennium Falcon's cockpit was inspired by the WWII B-29 Superfortress bomber? Did you know that the Star Wars saga most famous spacecraft featured a cockpit clearly inspired to a World War II heavy bomber? Well, the iconic greenhouse-style window of the Millennium Falcon was designed with the style of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, a strategic bomber flying 30 years before Han Solo and Chewbacca first appeared driving the iconic spacecraft into the hyperspace, in mind.

The illuminating, exoterical, astronomical George Clayton Johnson has died. The genius science-fiction writer behind so much of what we’ve all watched and enjoyed has passed on to his next adventure. George Clayton Johnson wrote the very first episode of Star Trek, The Man Trap; he wrote eight original Twilight Zone episodes for series creator Rod Serling including "Nothing in the Dark", "Kick the Can", "A Game of Pool", and "A Penny for Your Thoughts". In 1960, while he was one of the proprietors of Cafe Frankenstein (seen as sort of a "den of iniquity" by the uptight) in Laguna Beach,...

America and the world have been stunned by the success of Donald Trump. His dangerous, eccentric rhetoric has been extremely controversial and divides opinion within media circles and the general public. Some attribute his success to his campaign’s core anti-establishment, nationalist message while others say his campaign is merely a personality cult – full of supporters who only support him because he intrigues and entertains them....

The terrorists were telling the world all we need to know about the threat we face. Unfortunately, President Obama, the Democratic presidential candidates and left wing political leaders in Europe and this country refuse to listen Last Saturday night, 8.5 million Americans had the misfortune to watch three dangerously out of touch liberals debate the major issues of the day during the Democratic Party’s presidential debate. It was another example of how Democrats prefer the fantasy of their liberal beliefs to the true reality we are facing as a nation. In the immediate aftermath of the Paris terrorist attacks, much...

In what may be the most troubling legal development yet for the Daily Fantasy Sports industry, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that the office of Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, has launched a probe into whether certain aspects of DFS violate federal law. Bharara is a truly feared figure in the gaming industry. On Friday, Apr. 15, 2011, in what became known as “Black Friday” to gamblers, Bharara unsealed indictments against three major operators of online poker websites for assorted criminal violations. The indictments included charges for conspiracy to violate the...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in just two months, and today it's finally time to see the movie's official poster. No, not the teaser poster from last year, and not the promo item handed out at D23; this is the real deal. The poster features the key members of the cast that audiences have met thus far: Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, and Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, with some other faces that you just might recognize (hi, Han and Leia). What's even more interesting is the sight of some sort of orb in the upper...

There's much to sadly shake your head at in Pan, a sort of Peter Pan Begins that manages the unlikely feat of making battles between flying pirate ships a crushing bore. Most miserably, there's the great heap of action set pieces that are easier to wait out than to track with an instrument so primitive as the human eye—perhaps the singularity is nearing, and director Joe Wright's computers are whipping these scenes up exclusively for the enjoyment of advanced artificial intelligences ... But here's perhaps the most egregious betrayal of audience intelligence in this latest go at monetizing those aspects...

A House Republican chairman said on Thursday that he is likely to call a hearing on the new fantasy sports sites that critics say are skirting gambling laws. "My sense is that we will do a hearing," said Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), the chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. "There’s a lot of things on our front burner right now, but I think this is an issue that we ought to take a look at.”

Science fiction and fantasy offer a rich legacy of great books--but that abundant pile of reading material can also be daunting. So sometimes, it's easier to fake it. We asked some of our favorite writers, and they told us the 10 books that everyone pretends to have read. And why you should actually read them. From Asimov to Pynchon, science fiction contains some fantastic, ambitious works of genre fiction. But a lot of us get overwhelmed. And it's not that hard to fake a first-hand knowledge of these books, because they're everywhere, and we've heard people talk about them so...
