It began when a Central American migrant was interviewed on video, threatening to shoot Mexicans who are protesting against the caravan. It is unclear where this took place but most likely in Tijuana Mexico, near the POE with the United States. He threatened to shoot Mexicans that interfered, saying, “If they want violence, that is what they will see. What are 30 a$$holes going to do against 30k migrants?” he asked. He is heard about next in a video posted on social media after he is kidnapped and is being tortured

That intern should have slapped him as hard as she could with her right hand when he pushed her arm down. She would have been a hero for all time. If he hit her back, the SS could have given him a beat down.

Brazilians elected Jair Bolsonaro of the right-wing Social Liberal Party (PSL) their new president Sunday, granting him a double-digit lead over socialist opponent Fernando Haddad. Bolsonaro won the first round of voting in early October, but not by more than the 50 percent needed to prevent a second round runoff against the runner-up. While his lead diminished somewhat in the past week, official vote tallies counting 98.5 percent of precincts confirm Bolsonaro winning with over 55 percent of the vote.

Since the World Series is going on, let’s use a baseball simile. It’s the bottom of the 9th, and the team that is losing is down by one run. They need to get a runner in scoring position, or at least on first base, tie up the game. Instead, the first batter goes three and out. That was Florida Democrats yesterday. While Democrats are making some gains, they continue to be offset by Republican gains. According to the new projection model, Democrats have the lead in Seminole County now, but they lost the lead in Sarasota County. The small gains...

The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, has invited Pope Francis to visit his country, according to South Korean officials. Moon, who is Catholic, will visit Europe for a nine-day trip beginning on 13 October. He will meet the Pope and intends to relay the invitation. The desire to welcome the leader of the Catholic church comes as Kim attempts to transform his image from paranoid head of...

Massive Stock Market Sell off triggered by one sell program?: I'm not one for conspiracy theories and the fact is that for over 100 years, every massive selloff has been an opportunity to buy. The trick is when. (I think/HOPE Friday or Monday will be start of up tick-) But a continuing stock market decline would be very bad for any Republicans in midterms, I know some of you don't follow the market but it is linked to success or failure of those in party e.g . Obama would never have won 1st term (he was trailing McCain in all...

The NY Times is conducting live polls. They usually interview around 500 people. More than half way through their poll, Blackburn is at 56% and Bredesen is at 40%. Also, Cruz up by 6 in Texas. Heller up by 1 in NV. These are on-going live polls, so numbers can/will still change.

I want to excerpt a portion of this NY Times story. It looks like the new accusations against Judge Kavanaugh are already falling apart. The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.

Voters elected political newcomer Pete Flores to the Texas Senate on Tuesday, flipping a Democratic district red for the first time in 139 years and further bolstering Republicans’ supermajority in the chamber ahead of the November elections. A retired game warden, Flores defeated former state and U.S. Rep. Pete Gallego for the Senate District 19 seat after receiving backing from some of the state’s most prominent politicians, including Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and U.S. Sens John Cornyn and Ted Cruz. “We conservatives are conservative in the way we make approaches. The gun fight’s not over until the...
