There was no dramatic monologue or carefully written statement needed. Trump Supporters have known all along that Sean Hannity would support Trump when Trump became GOP nominee. This was confirmed with a simple tweet “Yes, I do.” Thank you, Sean, for always being fair and for endorsing Donald J. Trump for President.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has launched a six-figure TV advertising campaign in South Carolina, in advance of the state's upcoming presidential primary. The anti-illegal immigration group's TV ad argues that the cliché call to "bring illegal immigrants out of the shadows" should be applied to Americans who have been hurt by illegal immigrants. "For years, Americans have been told that we need to bring illegal aliens out of the shadows. Here's a better idea. Bring Americans victimized by immigration out of the shadows," Dan Stein, the president of FAIR, says in the ad. The television commercial was...

Well, this kinda turns the "liberals demand equal results" meme on its head... So, if the fat kid at the lunch table decides he needs a piece of the other kids lunches...he gets to have it? That's how "fair" is being defined here isn't it? Or maybe it's the other way around, the fat kid's lunch gets redistributed among the skinnier kids who need the fat kid's calories more than the fat kid does...But isn't that "fat shaming" the poor little thing? Is that a need now too? What a fantastic way to destroy the difference between "need" and "want"...

In the debate over whether or not people should be forced to pay money to unions as a condition of employment, opponents of right-to-work laws often claim that workers who exercise their rights under the law are “freeloaders.” That is, that they are taking advantage of benefits from union bargaining while not paying their “fair share.” The Michigan Education Association, like most unions, supports collectively representing workers whether they are in the association or not because of the leverage it gives them at the bargaining table. Still, no private organization should have to provide benefits to people who aren’t paying...

In September, Travis Childers, Mississippi's Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, completed a survey about immigration. Childers' stance has consistently been anti-immigration, so his opposing amnesty for "dreamers," young people whose parents brought them into this country without authorization when they were too young to object, is no surprise. #What angers Democrats is the questionnaire's source: The Federation for American Immigration Reform, known as FAIR. The questions are: 1. Will you oppose or support legislation that would grant any form of work authorization to illegal aliens? 2. Will you oppose or support legislation that would increase the overall number of...

The animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is taking aim at the Eastern States Exposition, asking that the fair to drop a Connecticut outfit that offers elephant rides and a children’s petting zoo. ... Cassidy said he would not allow PETA to bully the Big E. “As long as Gene Cassidy is president of the Big E, young people – and old people – will have the opportunity to see these animals,” he said. Since just before Labor Day, the Big E’s offices in West Springfield have been flooded with thousands of e-mails from animal-rights supporters,...

The theme of the 1964 World's Fair in New York City was "Peace Through Understanding". 650 acres of pavilions, public spaces and displays from exhibitors around the world. Countries, cities, corporations, and private groups set up shop to display their ideas and accomplishments to more than 50 million visitors. Corporate America was heavily-represented, with one of the most-remembered exhibits being General Motors' Futurama, displaying colorful and imaginative views of future society.

Published reports indicate that the state fairgrounds — once home to an iconic Michigan State Fair — may finally be sold to an investment team that includes former NBA star and Michigan native Magic Johnson. The state, however, should have sold it to the highest bidder immediately when it had a chance. In 1996, the Mackinac Center for Public Policy began recommending that the state should get out of the state fair business in its entirety. We argued in our first state budget study that fairs were nice, but "not a proper function of government in a civil society." In...

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace made the rather odd admission Sunday morning that GOP leaders had contacted him with opposition research on Ted Cruz (R-TX) ahead of the Senator’s appearance on the show, driving home just how angry Republicans were over Cruz’s defunding-Obamacare antics. Cruz now has one prominent GOP figure in his corner: Sarah Palin, who tweeted: [Tweet] Palin is no bigger fan of anonymous sources than Cruz is—read all about it here!—and praised Cruz both in an op-ed for Breitbart and an appearance of her own on Fox News Sunday afternoon. “Someday I’m going to tell America...

The Missouri State Fair will force rodeo clowns to complete sensitivity training after a clown mocked President Obama in a stunt one spectator likened to a Ku Klux Klan rally. The fair’s commission also approved a lifetime ban on the offending clown. **SNIP** The fair commission has called the stunt “unacceptable” and approved a measure that would force the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association to crack down on everyone responsible. The association would also have to prove all officials and subcontractors — such as the clowns — had successfully completed sensitivity training before working future rodeos.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri State Fair on Monday imposed a lifetime ban on a rodeo clown whose depiction of President Barack Obama getting charged by a bull was widely criticized by Democratic and Republican officials alike. The rodeo clown won't be allowed to participate or perform at the fair again. Fair officials say they're also reviewing whether to take any action against the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, the contractor responsible for Saturday's event. The entertainment during the bull riding contest featured a clown wearing a mask of Obama with an upside down broomstick attached to his backside....

SPRINGFIELD — Gov. Pat Quinn is tossing aside the decades-old tradition of Democrats throwing a political rally at the Illinois State Fair, but he denies that’s because Democrats are in disarray, he got booed heavily last year or that he’s facing a tough primary challenger. No, the Democratic governor says that Wednesday’s Governor’s Day at the state fairgrounds will not be the place for the usual political speeches, sign waving and blasting of Republicans. It will be filled with music and entertainment instead.

The Foundation for Apologetic Information & Research (FAIR) is bringing its annual FAIR Mormon Conference to Provo on Thursday and Friday. The organization, whose mission is to discuss and defend criticisms against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, used to hold its annual conference in Sandy, but chose the Utah Valley Convention Center this year because of a growing audience. FAIR has seen increased interest recently, both within the church and from outsiders, as the Internet increases access to -- and questions about -- the entirety of church history. Daniel Peterson, an Arabic professor at Brigham Young University...

This isn’t breaking news or anything, but it never ceases to amaze how swiftly politicians will throw much-maligned, greeedy big-oil companies and market speculators under the bus whenever gas prices begin a precipitous rise. Although the Obama administration is momentarily occupied with their headlining policy agenda (immigration, his umpteenth “pivot†to jobs and the economy, the healthcare rollout), there were several pointed provisions about energy in Obama’s budget proposal, and I have no doubt we’ll hear about the many supposed sins of oil companies and the need to forcibly wean ourselves off of fossil fuels with renewed vigor before long,...

WASHINGTON—Wealthier households benefit significantly more than lower earners from big tax breaks such as deductions for mortgage interest and charitable giving, the government said in a study Wednesday. More than half the benefits of 10 major tax breaks go to the one-fifth of U.S. households at the top of the income scale, according to the Congressional Budget Office. The top 1 percent of earners reaps 17 percent of these tax breaks, which also include preferential treatment of investment income and the deduction for sales and income taxes paid to state and local governments. Other breaks, such as the per-child tax...
