Lockerbie Trial Document: Susan Lindauer
How Susan Lindauer Was Caught
NRO ^ | 11 March 2004 | Byron York
"discussed the need for plans and foreign resources to support [resistance] groups operating within Iraq."
Lindauer is a former journalist for U.S. News & World Report, as well as for Fortune magazine and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. She also worked as a spokeswoman for then-Representative (and now Senator) Ron Wyden of Oregon, as well as former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun.
"She worked for Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., in 1993 and In 2002, she worked for Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif."
Why would she be meeting with Iraqi agents so soon after 9/11, unless Saddam was up to his eyeballs in 9/11? He was.
and yes, Galloway's name is on it.
Rep. Zoe Lofgren (news, bio, voting record), D-CA, speaks as President Clinton (news - web sites) and a bipartisan Congressional delegation gathered in the White House East Room to plea for legislators to resume gun safety talks on Capitol Hill, in this March 15, 2000 file photo. Susan Lindauer, 41, who worked for Lofgren in 2002, was arrested...

I was wondering if there is a way to determine if she's been donating money (possibly some of this spy money) to groups such as moveon.org. Isn't there some way to check not for profit donations online?

Saw a very defiant Lindauer on the news tonight. She sure is lippy for being caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

I guess I missed it, do you know who she has been working for since 2002?
A year ago, 6 months ago, or last month?
To: Just mythoughts
I guess I missed it, do you know who she has been working for since 2002? A year ago, 6 months ago, or last month? "Lindauer started her congressional career in 1993 when she took a job with Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore. The next year she went to work for a second Oregon Democrat in the House - Ron Wyden. Two years later she joined the staff of Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, D-Ill. After a brief stint at Fox News, she worked for Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., for a few months in 2002.
"Lindauer, 41, a former journalist and congressional press secretary, allegedly delivered a letter to Card in January 2003 - several weeks before the U.S. invaded Iraq - claiming to have access to Saddam's inner circle. After Saddam was toppled, "Symbol Susan," as she was known to her Iraqi handlers, allegedly tried to help someone she thought was a Libyan secret agent supporting resistance groups in Iraq. The Libyan was actually an FBI agent, according to an indictment unsealed yesterday that alleges Lindauer was paid a measly $15,000 to betray her country, officials said. "

Thanks, yes as I read again and again, but who she has worked for since her 2002 employment is missing. I have not read anywhere she is independently wealthy.

I did not see any info ( admittedly, it was a quick scan, which may have missed it ) about any employment after Lofgren- I kind of assume that after that, her profession was espionage! And she worked cheap.

That is what I kept finding missing since her arrest was announced.
I can't help but wonder if she might be associated with someone's campaign or one of their many fingers, like Mrs. Heinz's foundations, or A.N.S.W.E.R.
$15,000 is cheap, however, not enough to live on unless she is independently wealthy.
Just seems that there is a big whole in her resume since 2002.
To: backhoe
Wait a minute.
You didn't put the Seattle Post Intelligencer's headline in - that Lindauer is a second cousin to the Bush Administration's Andy Card!
Now, that's the important link!
