Facebook has refused to remove a sickening cartoon of a police officer having his throat slit from a Black Panther page used by Dallas cop killer Micah Xavier Johnson. The gruesome image shows a man dressed in black slashing a uniformed officer's throat with a knife as blood spills out of the cop's neck. It was posted on the 'Black Panther Party Mississippi' page, which Johnson posted a twisted rant on just days before he embarked on his massacre. The cartoon carries the words 'as a R.B.G. killer panther I pledge to defend my black community by any means necessary'....

The Army veteran who gunned down five Dallas police officers Thursday evening subscribed to updates from black nationalist groups on social media and had been sent home from Afghanistan following a sexual harassment allegation. Micah X. Johnson, 25, shot 14 people, including 12 officers, at the end of an anti-police protest in downtown Dallas. He was killed early Friday after authorities sent a bomb-wielding police robot to infiltrate the parking garage where Johnson was holed up. Beginning in 2009, Johnson served in the Army Reserve as a private first class with a specialty in carpentry and masonry, the military said....

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative. Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior

Clinton-Linked Israel Basher Max Blumenthal Disparages, Defames the Late Elie Wiesel; Says Holocaust Survivor ‘Should Not Be Honored’ As the world began to mourn the passing of renowned author, Holocaust survivor, Nobel Prize recipient and Algemeiner Tribute Committee Chairman Elie Wiesel on Saturday, with heart-felt eulogies and personal tributes from heads of state to friends, a famous Israel-basher took the opportunity to disparage and defame the intellectual icon. Max Blumenthal — senior writer for AlterNet and author of Goliath and The 51 Day War: Ruin and Resistance in Gaza, a virulently anti-Israel book about Operation Protective Edge in the summer...

Just in case you’re still wondering why the world’s so-called “elites” are losing credibility and respect faster than Mario Draghi can say “whatever it takes…” New York Magazine reports: In April, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg told a crowd of developers that he heard “fearful voices calling for building walls.” At the time it was widely assumed he was talking about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. But perhaps he was just hearing the voices echoing across his enormous Hawaiian estate? Back in 2014, the Facebook CEO purchased 700 acres of land on the island of Kauai for a cool $100 million....

Facebook is like North Korea, says ex-Facebooker Technically Incorrect: In his new book, former Facebook product manager Antonio García Martinez says Facebook management got upset if women's skirts were too short. Technically Incorrect offers a slightly twisted take on the tech that's taken over our lives. Many younger types imagine Facebook as a nirvana where you skateboard down corridors, code all night long and wait for the money to start rolling in. Antonio García Martinez thinks it's a little more like North Korea. The former (and fired) Facebook product manager today released a book called "Chaos Monkeys: Obscene Fortune and...

It's hard to know whether this kitten was trying to escape from its confinement or looking to meet up with his canine friend, but they both ended up together anyway. The JoLinn Pet House, a pet store in Taipei, Taiwan, posted a video on its Facebook page of a kitten clambering its way up the glass in its pen to get to the gap at the top. After getting stuck there for a few seconds the kitten then has to quickly size up what to do next as the puppy in the pen next door suddenly realises he may have...

Remember that little story? On March 28th of this year, a scene between two students at San Francisco State University went viral overnight. Corey Goldstein, an student, was walking through the corridors on his way to the next class, when he was confronted by Bonita Tindle, a girl he had seen but didn't know. Bonita didn't like that Corey, a young man of jewish ancestry, had chosen to style his long brown hair into dreadlocks. Somehow, Bonits had it in her mind that dreadlocks were the exclusive province of black people to wear. Her thought was anyone not black or...

Given that he recently had the embarrassment of having his Twitter and Pinterest accounts hacked, it is really no surprise to learn that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is taking some additional security measures after he accidentally revealed he tapes over the camera and microphone of his laptop. Celebrating Instagram's announcement Tuesday that it had grown to 500 million users, Zuckerberg posted a photo of himself at his desk with a cardboard cutout of the Instagram interface. Thornberry Fears Bureaucracy Hamstrings Cyber Vs. ISIS WASHINGTON: Why does the internet still work in Raqqa? That simple question about the Syrian capital of Daesh, the self-proclaimed Islamic State, posed today by retired fighter pilot Rep. Martha McSally, goes to the heart of how the military will use — or refrain from using — cyber weapons. It goes to deep suspicions that President Obama’s swollen National Security Council staff is micromanaging the military. No less a figure than House Armed Services Committee chairman Mac Thornberry voiced deep concern that we are bureaucratizing the cyber force at birth. All too often...

I have a facebook account under a silly name that I use to log into other sites to make political comments. Today facebook has demanded that I upload a photo ID from a state-issued driver's license, passport, military ID card, etc. before I can log in again. I have screen shots of the demands that I will upload to this thread when I get home. It may be time to go dark on the Interwebs. My spidey sense is tingling.

A Florida congressional candidate said Wednesday his contest to give away a semi-automatic rifle is still on despite the original post being taken down by Facebook. Greg Evers, who is running in the Republican primary for the open seat in Florida’s 1st District, announced Monday he’s giving away a “Homeland Defender” AR-15 rifle on July 4. But Monday night, Facebook pulled a post about the contest showing the rifle after receiving numerous complaints for "promoting graphic violence" and "describing the purchase or sales of drugs, guns or regulated progress." Facebook flagged another post sowing the rules for entering the contest.
