Woman Facebook live-streams her dying boyfriend seconds after he is shot four times by a cop as his mother says police kept her from her son's deathbed and claims the girlfriend is now missing ===============================================
The devastated mother of a black man who was shot dead by a cop and whose death was live-streamed on Facebook by his girlfriend says she was prevented from seeing him on his deathbed.
Valerie Castile, mother of Philando Castile, 32, who was shot in Falcon Heights, Saint Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday night, also claimed they have been unable to locate Diamond Reynolds, his girlfriend, since she was arrested by police.
The shocking footage of the aftermath of the shooting has sparked protests in Saint Paul, with hundreds of people descending on the Governor of Minnesota's house demanding justice. It is the second controversial police shooting of a black man to emerge in 24 hours.
In the video, Reynolds tells viewers that she and Castile were pulled over for a busted tail light by a 'Chinese police officer'.
She claims the cop, from the St. Anthony Police Department in Falcon Heights, asked Castile, a cafeteria supervisor at a Montessori school in St Paul, to show his license, but then shot him four times while he reached for it.
As she talks, she moves the camera across to show Castile, bloody and losing consciousness, and the cop - still pointing his gun, as her young daughter sits in the back seat.
The police officer, who is yet to be identified, been placed on paid leave.

People have criticizer her for keeping the video going. Best thing she could do to show what was actually happening vs the cops version.
This is one of the craziest ones yet. Asks the guy to get out his license. Shoots him dead as he does so, for the crime of not having his hands up. How can he have his hands up while he’s getting his license out?
If it weren’t all on film I would not believe it, also.
Already saw it elsewhere. Horrible. If true that the man was only reaching for ID and was shot, the policeman needs to be charged with murder. This one is REALLY bad. Need more facts ASAP.
I am amazed she was able to keep calm and not go berserk. She did all the right stuff. That cop is going to prison for the rest of his life.......................
The gal was pretty calm during the filming and when she says that he was shot when he reached for the ID the cop screams that I told him to keep his hands up and she calmly claims no sir, you asked him to get his license.
The same holds true for the shooting in Baton Rouge yesterday. Both make it worse for the good honest cops.
That’s a bad video. It is probably still on liveleak. He had no record, good guy, worked for the school district, and had a CCW. He told the cop he had a CCW. Cop told him to get his ID. He reached for his wallet and the cop lit him up.
This one doesn’t look good. Baton Rouge looks fine to me.
Everyone who has a CCW knows the first thing you do is put both hands on the steering wheel or the dashboard and inform the police officer you have a CCW. It’s the law folks!
Minnesota will settle out of court and she will get rich and a new boyfriend.

Baton Rouge, the giant guy was resisting, was armed, and didn’t stop fighting. He was a serial resister, a pedophile, and had a huge rap sheet including a lot of violence.
He wasn’t some decent guy like the one in this tape. Those two shouldn’t be held up as the same.

That’s just what he did. And the cop responded to get your ID. He went to pull out his wallet and was shot.
Based on my initial read and watching the video, in my opinion, this cop needs to be charged with murder. This guy even had CCW, was legally carrying his gun, and by all accounts was acting in a non-threatening manner. Nothing whatsoever justifies his murder.
I always tell the cop where the license is, then wait for him to tell me to go ahead before I reach there.
And why was he reaching for his license, anyway. The pictures show him being in the passenger seat - look at the shoulder harness. Passenger tells the cop he has a gun and reached for something?
I think about just this situation whenever I have been pulled over. I try to have my ID out before the COP ever gets to the door. Reaching for a wallet or papers in a glove compartment can be misinterpreted VERY easily by a jumpy cop.
I normally give LEOs the benefit of the doubt, but not in this case. This was a case of a total loss of control. This cop will face trial and likely go to prison. This guy followed everything to the letter: he told the cop he was carrying concealed, told him he was reaching for his ID, and he was summarily ventilated with no warning. The black community is rightly outraged. This was a bad shoot.
Makes me wonder how many people have died in the past at the hands of LE when cameras weren’t rolling.

The self-righteous police lobby has weighed in.

He had already told the cop he had a CCW and the cop told him to get out his ID. That’s why he was reaching for his ID.
Do NOT start reaching for stuff as the cop walks up to the car.
Put both hands on top of the steering wheel where he can see them from a distance. This will keep every ones blood pressure down.
