Two great evils that collided in the course of human events to create what both the dumb parents and the deeply deceived Muslim fanatics can only call a tragedy or a great, but damnable victory, respectively. It goes without saying that the loss of the young lives in Manchester England is a tragedy of the highest order. Even though they were chasing a pop-culture pipe dream they were subject to the kind of treatment that no one should ever have to endure. What is hard to escape is the picture the media paints of kids just having fun as a...

In his speech in Saudi Arabia, President Trump called on his Muslim audience to unite “in pursuing the one goal that transcends every other consideration. That goal is to meet history’s great test — to conquer extremism and vanquish the forces of terrorism.” That challenge could have been drama enough for the occasion, but Trump didn’t stop there. He went on to frame the great test as a “battle between good and evil.” As if to concede the point, evil responded quickly with the savage attack in Manchester, England, targeting innocent children and teenagers, most of them girls, with a...

(ROME / La Stampa) – In a new book on Amoris Laetitia published last week, two of its authors criticize the section of the “dubia” statement which deals with the category of “intrinsically evil acts”, claiming that this criticism does not apply. Entitled “Amoris Laetitia: a turning point for moral theology?”, the work contains a postscript authored by Stephen Goertz, professor of moral theology at the University of Mainz, and Antonio Autiero, former moral theology professor at the University of Munster, with the title “Speaking of doubts, mistakes, and distinctions.” It is the authors’ position that on Amoris Laetitia, Pope...

BELLE PLAINE, Minn. (AP) — A veterans’ memorial park in Minnesota will soon include a satanic monument among its tributes. The city is allowing the monument in its Veterans Memorial Park after the Freedom from Religion Foundation threatened to sue over another statue that features a soldier praying over a grave marked with a cross. The cross was removed once the issue was raised, but residents rallied to put it back.

The first series shocked viewers with its high volume of explicit sex scenes. Fellow FReepers, I am working on a new book and could use some expert FReeper researcher/knowledge help. The book is essentially about a history of evil. The 20th Century atrocities are pretty easy to summarize but I want to go all the way back to Cain and Abel. Would you mind listing off any historical figures or events that you think show great evil down through the ages? I want to be as comprehensive as I can be and not skip things through my own lack of familiarity. Here is a list of things that come to mind for me:...

he Black Lives Matter organization is a bunch of lawless, evil, racist and hate-generating scum, extremely bad for America Okay, so I am in Georgia with the Conservative Campaign Committee team working to defeat far-left-radical Democrat Jon Ossoff in the special election for the GOP congressional seat. Our CCC team was standing on a street corner waving “Defeat Ossoff” signs. A black woman pedestrian approached one of our team members to say she likes Ossoff because he believes Black Lives Matter. She asked our white team member if he supports Black Lives Matter. Our guy politely replied that he believes...

While Jamie Dimon tried to maintain his traditionally optimistic outlook in his annual letter to shareholders, there was a distinct undertone of pessimism in the latest 45 page letter released earlier today, in which he writes that while the U.S. is "truly an exceptional country," probably stronger than ever before, he cautions that "something is wrong - and it's holding us back."Here are the highlights from the gloomy passage reposted below in its entirety.Dimon's letter notes that the economy has been growing much more slowly in last decade or two than in the 50 years before then, with real...

A simple choice between good and evil. "When society no longer recognizes an absolute, society will then become its own absolute." Just the other day an adult male (I’d rather not call him a ‘man’) went into a Muncie, Indiana Goodwill store and began preaching Islam. In the course of his sharing the glad tidings of the religion of peace, he snatched an elderly woman by her throat and began choking her while screeching, “Allahu Akbar!” The weirdo was identified as Khaliad Bilal. Sounds like a Hispanic or maybe Irish name, to me - though I want to avoid profiling....

A new bill introduced in California’s state senate requires nursing homes and similar long-term care facilities to implement transgender bathroom policies. The bill makes it unlawful to require transgender residents to use the biologically correct bathroom, and prohibits nursing home employees from calling residents anything other than their chosen name and pronoun. Additionally, nursing homes that assign rooms based on gender will be prohibited from assigning rooms based on biological sex, if the bill passes.

In 2014, when dozens of conservative Tea Party groups were waiting for the IRS to grant them tax-exempt status, the Obama administration approved the application of a Satanist group behind the "After school Satan club" in ten days. The revelation was contained in documents requested from the Treasury Department by Judicial Watch under a Freedom of Information Act suit. Washington Times: "While the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) makes conservative groups wait years for tax-exempt status an 'After School Satan Club' launched to hinder Christian-based counterparts got its nonprofit ranking in just ten days," Judicial Watch said in a statement released...

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said Monday during the confirmation hearing for Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Donald Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, that Roe v. Wade is now a “super precedent” that cannot be changed. Feinstein argued that Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide, is “settled law” and could not be overturned by the Supreme Court in the future. “The Supreme Court has repeatedly upheld Roe’s court finding, making it settled law for the last 44 years,” she said, citing 14 cases where the high court upheld...

David Rockefeller, the banker and philanthropist with the fabled family name who controlled Chase Manhattan bank for more than a decade and wielded influence around the world even longer as he spread the gospel of American capitalism, died on Monday morning at his home in Pocantico Hills, N.Y. He was 101. Mr. Rockefeller could well be the last of an increasingly less visible family to have cut so imposing a figure on the world stage. As an advocate of the economic interests of the United States and of his own bank, he was a force in global financial affairs and...

WASHINGTON, DC, Mar 17 – Incidents of elder abuse are increasing at an alarming rate across the nation, according to the U.S. Justice Department and other authoritative private and public agencies.Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Citizens, says the financial exploitation of seniors is a “particularly insidious form of senior abuse but that victims seem loathe to report such crimes. Perhaps it is because the perpetrators can often be their caregivers, including family members. In fact, while one in 20 seniors reports being a victim of crime to the authorities, there is significant evidence that many more...
