The European Commission has admitted that the UK economy has “maintained momentum” since June’s historic vote for national independence, despite Europhile scaremongering that a vote for Brexit would cause a recession. In their latest forecasts for European growth, the commission boosted their pessimistic 1% forecast for the UK’s growth in 2017 by 50%, predicting that the UK economy will expand by 1.5% this year. The news comes as the pound strengthens against the dollar and continues to strengthen against the Euro for the sixth consecutive trading session.

A landmark YouGov poll has UKIP overtaking Labour amongst working class voters for what we believe is the first time in a national General Election poll. 23% of working class voters are now supporting UKIP, with only 20% backing Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour.

In 2012, Mezvinski, the husband of Chelsea Clinton, created a $325 million basket of offshore funds under the Eaglevale Partners banner through a special arrangement with investment bank Goldman Sachs. The funds have lost tens of millions of dollars predicting that bailouts of the Greek banking system would pump up the value of the country’s distressed bonds. One fund, exclusively dedicated to Greek debt, suffered near-total losses. Clinton stepped down as secretary of state in 2013 to run for president. But newly released emails from 2012 show that she and Clinton Foundation consultant, Sidney Blumenthal, shared classified information about how...

Remainers had hoped it would be the night when they finally made a dent in Theresa May’s Brexit plans as they put forward a bewildering array of new clauses and amendments to the Article 50 bill. Nine proposals in all, ranging from the rights of EU migrants to the opinions of the Gibraltar Government, were put to the vote, and one by one all nine proposals were thrown out by MPs. It was a flawless night for Theresa May, as the EU (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill was passed by 494 votes to 122 in its original, unamended form.

The Austrian government are working on plans to deploy troops across the world, both inside and outside of the European Union, such is the level of concern about the scale of illegal immigration. The current estimate is that between 500 and 1,000 migrants are arriving in Austria every week and the country is keen to put an end to such a high level of illegal immigration.

Ted Malloch, President Donald Trump’s proposed ambassador to the European Union, made it clear on Sunday that the administration’s goal is to destroy the European Union. During an interview on BBC on Sunday, Malloch warned that the EU is in for a rude awakening: Whether the EU powers-that-be like it or not, Trump will only deal with countries on a nation-by-nation basis. That would effectively end the supposed underlying reason for the EU.Malloch said, “Trump won’t cow down to the powers that be. He’ll speak his mind even if it gets him in trouble or held in disregard for others....

The next U.S. ambassador to the European Union is warning that his boss, President Donald Trump, won’t take any “bull—-” from Brussels. How’s that for start to diplomacy? Ted Malloch, Trump’s pick for the post, shocked BBC presenters Sunday morning with his bluntness, predicting the impending collapse of the EU as President Trump continues to lay down the law. During an interview with Pienaar’s Politics, the economist, WND author and contributor said the time is over for “baby talk and political correctness” of EU elites such as Angela Merkel, Jean-Claude Juncker and Guy Verhofstadt. The early Brexit backer said Trump...

ZAGAN, Poland — This hamlet in the wooded countryside is hours from Wroclaw, the nearest sizeable city, with narrow winding streets and large communist-era prefab block buildings. It’s in a need of a makeover, and it just might get one. The town is home to an expansive military installation, where Poland’s 11th Armored Cavalry Division is based. Earlier this week, the United States sent an armored combat brigade here as part of a NATO effort to assure eastern allies concerned about potential Russian aggression since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine in 2014. But the U.S. brought more than tanks and equipment...

Some thirty parties will compete with each other for the favor of Dutch voters on March 15. Because there are only 150 seats in the Dutch Parliament, the largest party will not be able to get much more than 35 to 40 seats. The favorite right now to become the largest party in parliament is Geert Wilders' Party for Freedom (PVV). A shocking new poll has been released in the Netherlands. According to Kantar Public, PVV has opened a large lead over the second largest party in the polls, the VVD, which is currently part of the governing coalition. This...

The attempt for another legal challenge to block Brexit has been rejected by the High Court in what is good news for all of us who want to see the process moving forward. Pro-EU campaigners had argued that Parliament would have to legislate to take the UK out of the single market and the European Economic Area, but that argument has been rejected.

EU interior ministers will consider plans on Thursday to finance camps in Africa where the UN refugee agency and aid groups would process migrants to prevent them trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe. The sea crossing from Libya to Italy, operated by people smugglers, is now the main route for migrants seeking better lives in wealthy Europe, but the EU wants to shut it down and admit only refugees. More than 4,500 people are known to have drowned last year alone trying to make the crossing. The European Union has deployed a naval mission in the Mediterranean and is...

With Marine le Pen transforming her National Front (NF) into a party for the populist era, analysts have been carefully assessing how French elections in May could deal a "severe blow" to the European Union (EU). "It's difficult to imagine how the European Union could function should such a Euroskeptic (as Le Pen) be at the helm of one if its major economies … It would likely precede its fracturing," Michael Hessel, political economist at Absolute Strategy Research, told CNBC via telephone. He said that that low voter turnout would be Le Pen's best hope of securing an unlikely election...

Speaking to CNBC, EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said, “Well the recovery is not done yet but we have been working with the Irish authorizes and we can see that they are moving forward to do the recovery of the unpaid taxes.” Vestager explained some of the issues faced when trying to recoup the taxes, saying, “It’s a tricky thing to do because it’s a large sum so of course you have to figure out how to do that. It’s not as an...
