No more 'B.S.!' Look who Trump picks for EU ambassador (Ted Malloch)

The next U.S. ambassador to the European Union is warning that his boss, President Donald Trump, won’t take any “bull—-” from Brussels.

How’s that for start to diplomacy?

Ted Malloch, Trump’s pick for the post, shocked BBC presenters Sunday morning with his bluntness, predicting the impending collapse of the EU as President Trump continues to lay down the law.

During an interview with Pienaar’s Politics, the economist, WND author and contributor said the time is over for “baby talk and political correctness” of EU elites such as Angela Merkel, Jean-Claude Juncker and Guy Verhofstadt.

The early Brexit backer said Trump doesn’t want Germany to rule Europe.

snip

In response to European Parliament Brexit negotiator Guy Verhofstadt’s call for rejecting Malloch’s ambassadorial appointment, he said only America would choose American diplomats and if the EU dared to intervene, there would an “equal measure of response in Washington.”

Anyone know about this guy?

I don't know of him, but if the EU have their collective knickers in a bunch over the guy, that's a good sign.

The early Brexit backer said Trump doesn’t want Germany to rule Europe.

Seems reasoned. Does Europe want to answer to Germany?

If the EU gets an ambassador, does that mean Germany, France, Spain, etc don’t? We shouldn’t send them any ambassador.

The greatness of President Trump has yet to be measured.

It may be far beyond what any of us imagine.

n an extraordinary pushback, he said that whether the EU likes it or not, Trump will only deal with countries on a nation-by-nation basis.

Then why is he sending an EU ambassador in the first place?

Because we still have formal relations with the EU. He may be sent to unwind operations.

he sounds GREAT from that one snippet (I do NOT know him)

but I wish DT would not appoint any ambassador to EU.
EU needs to be put out of its misery.
DT should appoint good ambassadors to each European nation but NOT to the dictatorial overlords in EU, imho

let it die, help it die if possible

President Donald Trump, won’t take any “bull—-” from Brussels

But, but BS is the Lingua Franca of diplomacy! You take that away and, who knows? Angela Merkel is likely to get the vapors!

This was the position that Nigel Farage wanted.

Maybe Nigel was too polite.

Why would the UK need an ambassador to the EU.
They are a member of the EU. Oh, wait-they are leaving in a year or so. I have a feeling that the EU will be a rump organization in a few years. Germany should have left years ago-Brussels bureaucrats tried to tell the Germans how to brew beer.
