"I can't look into the hearts and minds of people who have been, perhaps, my harshest critics," Holder said. "I think a large part of the criticism is political in nature. Whether there is a racial component or not, you know, I don't know." "Do you feel you've been especially disrespected as attorney general?" Reid asked Holder. "I think it's unfortunately part of Washington in 2014," Holder said. "I would hope that my successor would not have to endure some of the thing is did. I say endure only because I think I've shown respect where, perhaps, I haven't been...

Fox News host Tucker Carlson declared on Sunday that MSNBC activist host and US Attorney General Eric Holder were guilty of inciting the murder of two police officers in Brooklyn over the weekend. "The murders took place out of the blue in the context of a lot of political agitation," Carlson explained on Sunday. "You don't want to start speculating about why this happened or casting blame unfairly. Again, we know who pulled the trigger, he is ultimately responsible." "But it's such an emotional thing, it's so wrong, immoral, unfair, that it's almost hard not to point out at some...

Over the weekend two New York City police officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, were executed by Ismaaiyl Brinsley in apparent retribution for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Mayor Bill de Blasio had previously encouraged leftists to protest the city’s police department. Before a press conference on the death of these two officers, police turned their back on the Mayor. They Mayor in turn attacked the actions of the police. It is obvious there is no love lost between the Mayor and the police department. The police union has so much as declared that blood is on...

Rafael Ramos and Wenjin Liu died because of the campaign to vilify police. Even as the events of Ferguson begin to fade, the campaign it helped engender rolls on, with new reports of demonstrations and protests appearing almost daily. Last week Carol Jackson, a federal judge, restricted police tactics against protestors. (This is kind of odd in and of itself. The last thing people want to hear about during the holidays is some hood getting his comeuppance. The same can be said about Sen. Feinstein’s “torture report” -- waterboarding is not likely to play well during the sleigh bell season....

Barack and Michelle Obama, speaking to People Magazine, of all disappointments, shared the disheartening news that they have experienced what they called racism. Barack, for example, apparently has had trouble, before he was president, hailing a cab in Chicago, to which an immediate thought might occur to anyone who has been to Chicago: Who hasn't? Also, Barack, at a black-tie event, when he, too, was in festive livery, apparently was asked by another guest if he would get them a cup of coffee. For her recollection, Michelle came up with a visit to a Target store as first lady. She...

After months of stoking anti-police sentiment across the country, far-left organizations, leaders and government officials are in damage control mode, releasing a slew of statements in response to the execution style murders of uniformed NYPD Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn by a man claiming revenge for the cases of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. President Barack Obama (who made a statement hours after being briefed on the golf course in Hawaii about the incident): "I unconditionally condemn today's murder of two police officers in New York City." —President Obama: pic.twitter.com/NAeTxpV70U— The White House (@WhiteHouse) December 21,...

Jeb Bush left the Florida governor’s office in January of 2007, after eight years of service. Three months later, he joined the board of a hospital company that had been pillaging government health programs and abusing patients, in Florida and around the country, for most of the years he sat in the governor’s office. Apart from a very generous compensation package, why did Bush sign on with such a tarnished company? And will whatever explanation he now offers hold up under the microscope of a presidential campaign? Tenet Healthcare Corp. is a national for-profit hospital company with a sordid history....

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder wrote an open letter to Attorney General Eric Holder. He is calling him out for not releasing his findings yet in the federal investigation into the Michael Brown shooting. In Kinder’s letter, he notes the investigation has gone on, “For more than four months.” He adds: “I respectfully request that you release to the public the findings of fact from your federal investigation into whether a civil rights violation occurred. I ask this not knowing what those findings are. However, I believe that all Missourians, indeed all Americans, have a...

The Justice Department is now interpreting federal law to explicitly prohibit workplace discrimination against transgender people, according to a memo released Thursday by Attorney General Eric Holder. That means the Justice Department will be able to bring legal claims on behalf of people who say they’ve been discriminated against by state and local public employers based on sex identity. In defending lawsuits, the federal government also will no longer take the position that Title VII of the federal Civil Rights Act, which bans sex discrimination, does not protect against workplace discrimination on the basis of gender status. …

The family of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed in Arizona's Peck Canyon by Mexican bandits carrying weapons provided to them through Operation Fast and Furious, marked the four year anniversary of his murder yesterday. Photos posted on Facebook with a link to the Brian Terry Foundation page show Agent Terry's sister, Kelly Terry-Willis, visiting the very spot where he died on the night of December 14, 2010. "Today marks the four year anniversary of Brian Terry's death. Four years later, the family of Agent Terry still waits for answers to not only what happened that night, but the...

Among the familiar hucksters who sought to capitalize on the troubles in Ferguson, Missouri, came a new face: Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights and self-styled heir to the non-existent royal houses of Iraq and Syria. “I am deeply concerned,” Prince Zeid said in a press release, about “institutionalized discrimination” in America, and “I urge the U.S. authorities” to conduct “in-depth examinations” of racial justice. Notwithstanding the overwhelming evidence that Michael Brown’s death resulted from the criminal acts he engaged in before and during his encounter with officer Darren Wilson, Zeid’s Human Rights Council...

Every now and then, news breaks in the Obama administration that is so stereotypical, it is actually depressing. You might want to sit down for this. Attorney General Eric Holder, made infamous by Operation Fast and Furious, is currently arguing before the Supreme Court that United Nations treaties trump the United States Constitution. That’s right. The sitting Attorney General, charged with upholding and defending the Constitution, is arguing before the highest court that international law is in fact the law of the land. The case in question, Bond v. United States, is actually pretty ridiculous. The defendant is charged with...

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder hits Chicago on Friday to discuss law enforcement issues in the wake of violence that erupted after a Missouri grand jury declined to indict a white police officer who shot an unarmed African American teen in Ferguson, Mo. The Justice Department is conducting two probes — civil and criminal — of the incident. Chicago will be the latest of a series of meetings Holder is holding on "Building Community Trust." The Chicago session will include U.S. Attorney Zach Fardon and Mayor Rahm Emanuel will also attend. "The roundtable will serve as an opportunity to...

Senior FDIC officials must be held accountable for banking regulators’ “unethical” and “illegal” actions against legitimate businesses that are out of favor with the Obama administration, a congressman with a background in banking said today. In a letter to Martin Gruenberg, chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., says he wants a full review of all FDIC employees involved in Operation Choke Point. Luetkemeyer, a rising member of the House Financial Services Committee, names five officials as “implicated in this unsavory affair,” and adds that “to allow these individuals to go without penalty would be unjust.”...

In the aftermath of the violent riots that broke out following a grand jury’s decision not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of black teenager Michael Brown, storeowners in the small St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Mo., say they’re almost as angry at their state government as they are with the looters who vandalized, robbed, and destroyed their stores. […] “We haven’t received one call from the state or the governor’s office at all—not one,” said Kurt Barks, owner of Complete Auto Body and Repair in Ferguson, one of dozens of businesses that were trashed...

Attorney General Eric Holder will announce the Justice Department's release of its long-awaited revised racial profiling guidance for federal law enforcement on Monday. In 2003, the Justice Department issued its first racial profiling guidance under former Attorney General John Ashcroft. That guidance banned profiling based on race and ethnicity, but granted exceptions for national security and border protection. Civil rights groups considered the exceptions a kind of permission to discriminate especially against Muslims in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The newly revised guidance will expand the characteristics it protects -- beyond race and ethnicity -- to include bans...

Federal investigations of the Garner and Brown cases are just a pretext. Civil-rights investigations in Ferguson and Staten Island? No, what denizens of St. Louis and New York City ought to be worried about right now is . . . the crime wave overtaking Seattle. If you don’t understand why, then you probably thought Obamacare was about covering the uninsured. Like its health-care “reform” campaign, the Obama Left’s civil-rights crusade is about control — central control of state law enforcement by Washington. The deaths of Michael Brown in Missouri and Eric Garner in New York are each tragic in their...

Sleazy race-agitators like Eric Holder and Barack Obama want you to think that America has a malignant, systemic problem of mostly white police departments unfairly targeting blacks, while somehow also keeping many blacks from becoming cops themselves. From that same timeworn narrative they’d have us all believe that any and all troubles faced by any black person today are, and always will be, attributable to some feature of the existence of white people on this planet throughout history. This carefully orchestrated mass-hallucination has many names, among them the modern sophists’ favorites: ‘disparate impact doctrine’ and ‘critical race theory.’ Despite even...

Wow, there’s a whole lot of B-slapping going on here: In his interview with Megyn Kelly, Sheriff Clarke takes the back of his hand to Ricky Holder (AG, USA), Congressman Al Green (D, Texas), Big Guy (D, WORLD), and Al Sharpton (A-H at large). Compare this clip with the Standup for Hillary video (alternate title: “Burn this B***h Down”) and tell me: who would you vote for?Butt let’s focus on Eric Holder, our Attorney General who’s been “B-Slapping” Americans of no-color around since he arrived on the scene six years ago. Now, it’s finally your turn; I hope you enjoy my...
