MSNBC host Ed Schultz delivered a highly-charged monolog to his dwindling audience Monday night focusing on the blockbuster film American Sniper. The movie may have garnered an armful of Oscar nominations and brought in a record $105 million over the MLK holiday weekend, but to Schultz, the film was "disturbing" and highlights "the normalization of Islamophobia" in America. Schultz went on to say the film "underscores how many lives we have ruined because of doing something that was terribly wrong."

How far left is frequent Ed Show guest Mika Papantonio? The class-action lawyer has criticized AG nominee Loretta Lynch for being too business-friendly. MSNBC has screwed things up so badly with their viewers that the network now has its lowest ratings since October 2007. According to TVNewser: Compared to the same month last year, MSNBC was down -12% in total viewers and -19% in A25-54 viewers in total day.
