Federal prosecutors say a Missouri mother should serve three years in prison for her role in a MySpace hoax on a 13-year-old neighbor girl who committed suicide. The government outlined its position in court documents filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. The filing comes after probation officials recommended Lori Drew should be placed on probation for one year and fined $5,000. Prosecutors say Drew violated MySpace service rules by helping create a fictitious teen boy on the social networking site and sending flirtatious messages in his name to Megan Meier, a neighbor in suburban St. Louis.

One of the most unbelievable things ever happened on the set of the yesterday's "Price is Right" -- some dude nailed the price of his showcase to the exact dollar -- and host Drew Carey couldn't have looked more bored. No one has pulled off an exact bid in more than 30 years -- plus, the dude had already won $500 in cash for nailing the exact price of a cooker earlier in the show -- but after the showcase stunner, Drew was more fired up to talk about spaying and neutering pets. A TMZ spy who happened to be...

Lori Drew regrets not stopping her daughter and an employee from using a fake MySpace account to mislead Missouri teenager Megan Meier, but Drew’s lawyer claims she had no knowledge the prank had taken a nasty turn until Megan committed suicide. “She knew these girls were doing it and she didn’t stop it,” attorney Jim Briscoe told TODAY’s Matt Lauer during an exclusive interview Tuesday. “She wishes she did. If she could turn back the clock, that’s the part she would do differently.” Drew has yet to speak publicly about the events leading to Megan’s death in October 2006, and...

(Spielberg is the one on the right.)In 1982, when E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was released, six-year-old Brian Herzlinger first got a crush on its young co-star, Drew Barrymore. Twenty-three years later, with a video camera obtained under morally ambiguous circumstances and $1,100 prize money he won on a game show, Brian decided to make the charming, inspirational, and laugh-out-loud funny movie, My Date with Drew, in which he documents his campaign to get a date with his crush. Strategic to Brian's campaign to...

MADISON, N.J. - Former President Bill Clinton urged a standing-room crowd at Drew University Wednesday night to take advantage of unprecedented opportunities to help create a world of integrated communities and fewer adversaries. LOS ANGELES (AP) - Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center will stop using police officers to subdue agitated psychiatric patients, responding to threats from federal regulators to pull the hospital's funding. Last week, the hospital received its second warning in six months about Los Angeles County police using Taser stun guns to stop aggressive mental patients. The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said the county-owned hospital was putting patients in "immediate jeopardy" by not first trying less extreme methods. Hospital officials told the Medicare agency on Wednesday that they would begin replacing police with mental health workers to...
