A TEENAGE boy who screamed threats to ‘slaughter the Christians’ outside a school in Sydney’s west has been charged with intimidation and offensive conduct. Police allege the 14-year-old boy from Wentworthville was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when he yelled the abusive comments while waving a flag outside Maronite College of the Holy Family in Harris Park last Tuesday. Onlookers were left shaken and terrified after a nun told police the boy was waving a flag that resembled the IS flag and had threatened to “slaughter the Christians.”

A TERROR suspect fatally shot following the stabbing of two police officers may not have been acting alone, Victoria's top cop says. "ON the night, there is some information that would suggest otherwise," Chief Commissioner Ken Lay told ABC radio in Melbourne on Thursday. Mr Lay said police had information Numan Haider, 18, was talking to others before Tuesday night's attack outside Endeavour Hills police station. "There's some information that he was certainly talking to other people around the time," he said. "It's certainly something we're pursuing."

TWO policemen are stabbed in Melbourne after offering to shake the hand of a Muslim terror suspect and who do Muslim leaders attack? Yes, the police. Again. The Islamic Council of Victoria’s reaction yesterday is a disgrace and only too typical of the Muslim leadership that has so betrayed Australia. Here are the facts about the incident in Endeavour Hills on Tuesday, in which one officer was nearly killed after being knifed in the head, stomach and arm before the attacker was shot dead by the other officer, also wounded. The dead man was Numan Haider, an 18-year-old Afghan refugee...

JUST when the families of the secretive soldiers in the Special Air Service Regiment thought they could relax, here they go again. Over the last week the quiet men from Australia’s special forces have returned to Frontierland, where Wild West meets murderous Middle East. As if 10 years of Afghanistan wasn’t enough. The good thing about having served in Afghanistan is that they know what to expect in Iraq, Syria or anywhere else they’re ordered to put themselves in harm’s way. They’re back where every pedestrian (especially kids) or car could be a suicide bomb primed to kill them. Where...

Australian police said they shot dead a man after he stabbed two counter-terrorism officers, just days after sweeping raids involving hundreds of police thwarted what they said was an imminent plot to behead a member of the public. Australia, a staunch ally of the United States and its escalating action against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, is on high alert for attacks by home-grown militants returning from fighting in the Middle East. The 18-year-old man was asked to attend a police station in the southern state of Victoria because his behaviour was "causing concern," according to Luke Cornelius,...

A TERROR suspect who allegedly made threats against Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been shot dead by police tonight after stabbing a Victoria Police officer and federal agent. The man, who security sources said had recently had his passport cancelled, was stopped by counter-terrorism police outside the Endeavour Hills police station in Melbourne’s southeast. It is understood he had been under surveillance for having allegedly made threats against Mr Abbott. The joint counter-terrorism operation was aimed at detaining and questioning the man in relation to the threats, sources said. It is believed police were in the process of detaining him...

video 6:57 Assessment and Strategy Center, in re: Australians and Japanese on a slowly-accelerating alliance, hitherto with the US in between; but as Japan has been reaching out to India, now it approaches Australia, esp now that it’s relaxed its self-imposed restrictions on weapons sales. Taiwan wants to buy submarines, which the US refuses to supply. Is Japan the next arsenal of democracy? In the Philippines, yes – it’s almost a vacuum, and dangerous because of China's feints. I once thought that they'd sell an older design to a US firm to modify and sell to Taiwan, but if China...
  • [Western Australia] WA Muslims fear they could be targeted

    WA Today ^ | 9/22/2014
The Islamic Council of WA is planning to set up a hotline for its members in Western Australia, concerned Muslims will be targeted after vandals damaged a mosque in Sydney on Friday. Last week more than 800 police raided homes in Sydney and Brisbane in the largest counter-terrorism operation ever in Australia. One of the arrests involved 22-year-old Omarjan Azari, who is accused of plotting to kidnap a member of the public and have them beheaded. After the raid, more than 200 members of the Muslim community in Sydney held a rally in the western suburbs, angry they were being...

An incident has shocked not only the Australian security agencies who are chasing the Islamists on the ground, but also the entire world. According to a report in 'Australian', an eight-year-old girl has called the Muslim youths to back jihad. The worst fears have come true. The report says, "As Julia Gillard struggled to explain how Muslim children could be used to incite violence, eight-year-old Ruqaya yesterday fronted a congress of Islamic fundamendalists in Sydney to espouse her love for jihad. Addressing a 600-strong crowd at the Australian chapter of Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Bankstown in the city's west, the young girl...

Never before have I felt so naked. Now more than ever, I wish I was armed. And I’m not alone. Any and all home-grown Islamic terrorism should be able, if need be, to be met by a well-armed civilian militia. The United Kingdom has had two beheadings of members of the public in the last two years, with neither police nor civilians able to prevent it. It has prohibitive gun laws. With news of the ISIS plot to randomly abduct members of the Australian public and behead them, Australian sentiment on guns is dramatically shifting. It appears Australians are finally...

New Zealand’s ruling National party stormed to a third term in government in the country’s general election on Saturday with the center-right party securing an outright election night majority on a platform to continue tight economic policies. Prime Minister John Key’s party won 48.1 percent of the vote, translating into 61 of 121 parliamentary seats and improving its performance from the 2011 vote. “I think people saw the country was on the right direction and they rewarded us,” Key told reporters as he headed to a victory rally. “What you saw was people saying they were going to vote for...

PRIME Minister John Key has won an emphatic victory in New Zealand’s general election to return for a third term in office. Labour Party leader David Cunliffe said in a concession speech Saturday night that he called Key to congratulate him on his victory. The result will be seen as an endorsement of the way Key’s National Party has handled the economy.

Security was in full force at Allianz Stadium tonight in response to heightened terrorism fears across Australia. Throughout the match and at half-time, police were patrolling the aisles, checking along the rows at the feet of spectators for anything suspicious. At the break, more than 30 security staff and police guarded the playing field. Radio station 2GB reported that three bearded men of middle-eastern appearance were removed by police from the venue, however police later denied the claim With the country on high alert, this may be a glimpse into what the future live sport experience might be like for...

A COMPLACENT American President and the failure of Australian Muslims to integrate into the mainstream are two factors identified by John Howard as contributing to the terrorism crisis. ..... When asked if we have become complacent since 9/11, Mr Howard takes aim at Barack Obama, a man whose election he once warned would be welcomed by terrorists. “I think it’s always a danger that you get complacent,” he says. “I was surprised at the complacency in President Obama’s speech a few months ago to the West Point graduation ceremony where he talked about the strength of the threat in, I...

Most readers probably pondered how ISIS was able to infiltrate a country and the awful acts they were prepared to perpetrate. I didn’t. My thoughts ran immediately to the fact that at least one of the individuals had a “prohibited” weapon and ammunition. As with all gun control, law abiding citizens are unarmed and unprotected, while the criminals have their weapons. Australia has some of the most restrictive gun control laws on earth. We’ve discussed this before. An Australian farmer lost his fight to obtain a handgun to shoot feral hogs because he couldn’t satisfy the woman heading the “administrative...

Fresh terror busts in Australia expose a common Achilles’ heel of the West: Indiscriminate refugee policies turn free countries into breeding grounds for jihad. It’s the same game in America. Soldiers of Islam have weaponized our blind generosity against us. In Sydney this week, authorities detained a half-dozen Muslim plotters and arrested a top collaborator in an alleged conspiracy to kidnap and behead a random Australian citizen. The accused mastermind? Mohammad Ali Baryalei, an Afghan refugee turned Aussie Islamic State recruiter. He and his aristocratic family were welcomed Down Under decades ago. Baryalei returned the favor by taking to the...

Two men were charged Thursday in connection with a terror plot that Australia's prime minister said involved plans to carry out a public execution. Prime Minister Tony Abbott said authorities obtained intelligence about a "demonstration killing" -- a killing, Australian media reported, in which alleged assailants planned to kidnap a member of the public, behead the victim and then drape him or her in an ISIS flag. The foiled plot comes just days after the country raised its terror alert to high and in the midst of Australia committing to helping the United States and a broad international coalition to...

SECURITY is being ramped up at Parliament House, homes will be searched closely and ASIO has seized passports of Melbourne men, amid Australia’s largest counterterrorism raids in history. This morning the The Daily Telegraph revealed Australian Federal Police (AFP) will ramp up security at Parliament House after intelligence agencies picked up “chatter” about a potential random attack on Canberra. There are fears among national security and intelligence agencies the Prime Minister and other senior government officials are prime targets. Senior intelligence sources confirmed the building had been “scoped out” for a “Mumbai” style attack involving automatic weapons. It’s also believed...

A MUSLIM leader chose the hallowed steps of Lakemba’s War Memorial to preach outrage and condemnation over the anti-terror raids across Sydney. In front of 300 angry protesters, controversial Hizt ut-Tahrir spokesman Uthman Badar warned of a growing anger within the Islamic community and said it was time to stop the victimisation. “We are tired of being made scapegoats. The government is the terrorist,” he declared to the gathering, many waving anti-government placards. Protesters packed the lawns of the Canterbury council-controlled RSL reserve — booked by rally organisers for one hour from 7pm — as a group of speakers branded...
