Earlier this month, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN announced that she had filed a subpoena demanding the release of flight logs associated with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, a figure notorious for his connections with high-profile individuals in human trafficking and sexual abuse. Blackburn has set her sights on the private flight logs of the late Jeffrey Epstein. “Since we’re in the business of issuing subpoenas now, here are a few more that I filed a subpoena to Jeffrey Epstein’s estate to provide the flight logs for his private plane,” Blackburn announced. “Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and sexual...

The Senate Democrats’ leading advocate for amnesty and immigration, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), is endorsing the pro-amnesty push underway by former President George W. Bush. “Bless you, George W. Bush, for saying what you did,” said Durbin, who has a long history of supporting migration into the United States, regardless of the damage done to Americans’ wages, housing costs, and civic stability. In an April 22 interview with Punchbowl News, Durbin said the GOP should adopt Bush’s pro-migration policies: Will it have an impact on Republicans? I think it must. I believe that many of them want to move beyond...

Democrats immediately rejected President Donald Trump’s offer of a work-permit amnesty for one million registered migrants in exchange for 230 miles of new border wall. The rejection came even though Trump’s offer angered his base by trading a DACA temporary amnesty for a wall. Also, Trump did not ask for the reform of the many catch-and-release rules which allow the cartels to profitably smuggle hundreds of thousands of poor migrants into the U.S. labor market, welfare rolls, and U.S. K-12 schools. The speech came after Trump had offered a series of smaller concessions in closed-door negotiations since Christmas. Democrats quickly dismissed...

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is standing by his tweets supporting Brett Kavanaugh despite most of the Democrats on the committee sending him a letter demanding that he retract them on Wednesday evening. Responding to the letter, Grassley said, “Nothing in the tweet is inaccurate or misleading. The committee stands by its statement, which is completely truthful. More baseless innuendo and more false smears from Senate Democrats.”

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said the Trump administration had trapped children in a “bureaucratic cave” with his zero-tolerance policy on immigration which caused some families to be separated after crossing the border illegally. Referencing the children being saved from a cave in Thailand, Durbin said, “Before I get into that, our hearts and prayers are with those boys in Thailand, trapped in the cave. I hope our hearts and prayers are also with thousands of children, toddlers and infants, removed from their parents by the Trump administration, under zero tolerance. They’re trapped in a...

On the same day that Long Beach-born, Korean-American superstar Chloe Kim jumped, flipped and twisted her way to a golden medal in the halfpipe competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, the U.S. Senate barreled ahead with a long-awaited debate on the fate of young, unauthorized immigrants in America. Now she and her gold medal are being sucked into the immigration fight unfolding in Congress. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, went as far as to bring a victorious photo of Kim to the Senate floor on Tuesday as he shared the immigration story of her father. “Today, all...

On December 20, 2009 Republican Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma said before Congress: "What the American people ought to pray is that somebody can't make the vote tonight. That's what they ought to pray. So that we can ... get the middle of America and the middle of the Senate a bill that can run through this country and actually do what we say we all want to do." Although no particular individual was named, it was an attempt to express disapproval for the overwhelmingly Democrat-supported H.R. 3590 Health Care Bill our Government wants to push through Congress before Christmas....

What part of the war on terrorism do they support? Ann Coulter posted: August 23, 2006 6:23 p.m. Eastern © 2006 This year's Democratic plan for the future is another inane sound bite designed to trick American voters into trusting them with national security. To wit, they're claiming there is no connection between the war on terror and the war in Iraq, and while they're all for the war against terror – absolutely in favor of that war – they are adamantly opposed to the Iraq war. You know, the war where the U.S. military is killing thousands upon thousands...

Yesterday, Illinois Senator Dick Durban, number two ranking Democrat finally gave a Clintonian style bite-of-the-lower-lip apology, sort of. However, in reading his words, one must wonder just why such a slick lawyer type would have stated such ugly, hate-filled words in the first place. One must also be curious that such words stated days ago gave not one prominent Washingtonian Democrat issue to demand immediate apology and his removal of leadership position. Just what is it with Democrats that they feel actions and words should have no personal consequence, however much damage it does to our nation. What if his...

There’s an old joke that goes: "Daddy, is it true that all fairy tales begin with the words 'Once upon a time'?" "No, Virginia. Most begin with 'I promise when elected that...'" It appears that Edwards has taken his cue directly from that joke, so it must be close to an election because the insanity is running rampant. On October 11, Edwards (the low-flow John) said: "When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk. Get up out of that wheelchair and walk again." It is utterly amazing that Edwards could say such a thing, but...
