Early Voting Limits Time for Trump Comeback Every election year, as a matter of habit and convenience, we all talk about “Election Day” as though it is a defined nationwide event. But the reality is far more complex thanks to the advent of widespread no-excuse-required voting prior to Election Day by mail or in person. Indeed, as Patrick Healy of the New York Times reminds us today, nearly a third of the ballots counted in the last presidential general election were cast before Election Day — a figure that regularly rises as states follow a trend toward less traditional voting...

She was a rising Democratic star. She was the first in her party to be elected state attorney general. She was one of the most powerful women in Pennsylvania. But on Monday night, Kathleen G. A jury found Ms. Kane, 50, guilty of nine criminal charges, including perjury and criminal conspiracy, convicting her of leaking grand jury information, and then lying about it, in an effort to discredit a political rival. Ms. Kane was caught up in a web of scandal and counterscandal, threaded with lewd emails, political rivalries and alleged...

The number of Americans with concealed carry gun permits has surged by more than 200% since Obama became president. There are now more than 14 million authorized to carry concealed firearms. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn) called this trend "frightening in the extreme. We ought to be reducing the number of people carrying weapons, not increasing them. Reversing this trend has got to be a focal point for Democrats in this election cycle. Ideally, only police ought to be carrying firearms. Making sure the right person is elected president will be crucial to achieving this goal." The notion that an increase...

A scuffle broke out at a Multnomah County Democrats meeting Thursday night, prompting a police response and leaving several of the party's newest members disillusioned. It all started when one of the organization's new members asked to amend the agenda at the meeting's outset. Chairwoman Lorraine Van Hoe reportedly denied the request, which only prompted loud, angry responses from the gallery. "People felt they were not being heard," said Leigha LaFleur, who last month traveled to Philadelphia as a delegate for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Convention. "In order to be heard, they amplified their voices. That...

Hundreds of internal documents from groups run by prominent billionaire liberal donor George Soros were leaked online Saturday after hackers infiltrated the groups. The 2,576 files were released by DCLeaks, a website which claims to be “launched by the American hacktivists who respect and appreciate freedom of speech, human rights and government of the people.” The documents are from multiple departments of Soros’ organizations. Soros’ the Open Society Foundations seems to be the group with the most documents in the leak. Files come from sections representing almost all geographical regions in the world, “the President’s Office”, and something named SOUK.

The recent release of emails hacked from the Democratic National Committee may be only the tip of an ice berg of embarrassing revelations of secrets Party big shots wish would have stayed hidden. The FBI estimates that the email accounts of more than 100 top Party officials may have been compromised. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) called the breach “as dangerous a threat to America as the Watergate scandal. The privacy of the leaders of the Democratic Party has been severely damaged.” Earlier disclosures from the DNC hack showed unseemly behavior by officials to rig the primary election in...

**SNIP** However despite not punishing Wikileaks for their revelations, Twitter has decided to suspend the Twitter account of Guccifer 2.0, the individual behind latest hack, who accused the DNC of “settling everything behind the scenes.” Twitter has become notorious for its its liberal bias under the direction of CEO Jack Dorsey, as well as its growing disdain for conservative media. Alleged political bias at the company recently flared into a major issue again after the recent permanent suspension of Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos. However it is one of many tech companies, including Facebook and Apple, who according to a...

Never underestimate the stupidity of the average Democrat voter in overlooking pure evil and utter corruption in their candidates. Never underestimate the stupidity of the Republican establishment and their natural talent in losing elections when they should have been sure-winners. The proof is in the pudding: Bill Clinton's reelection in 1996 over the GOP establishment's loser, Bob Dole. . Obama's election in 2008 over the GOP establishment's loser, John McCain. . Obama's reelection in 2012 over the GOP establishment's loser, Mitt Romney. And now after we the people rejected the GOP establishment's sure-loser (Jeb Bush) and voted in our own...
