For the upcoming presidential debate, the powers that be have chosen to go with a town hall-style set-up and two moderators. Those two mods are CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz and according to Page Six, they are beefing. Specifically, each one of them reportedly wants to be the one who hits Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump with the hard questions. Page Six reported that sources close to the two networks are describing the D.C. meetings between both networks’ producers, talent, and executives as “acrimonious at best.” Here’s the full quote: Getting the two networks together has been a...

Soon after the first presidential debate, we saw markets increase more than three-quarters of a percent. That followed a dip Monday prior to the evening debate. Some headlines told us that these alarm bells came from a possible Donald Trump presidency. Can we expect to see similar trends before and after the next debate on Sunday? Now it would appear that some believe that Hillary Clinton won that first debate, and that she is well on her way to victory in November. As a result, markets headed upwards. The interesting part of this situation is that Wall Street analysts have become so...
  • Trump should propose real debates

The first presidential "debate" was a farce. The next presidential "debates" will likely be as well. Rather than submit to biased mainstream media moderators (but I repeat myself), Trump should propose real debates, in addition to or as substitutes for those currently scheduled. The article is also a bit of a rant about Ms. Clinton. In a real debate, one resolution is proposed. The candidate in favor of the proposition speaks first and gets a specified amount of time to say why it’s a good idea. Then the candidate against the proposition gets a specified amount of time for rebuttal and...

The entire genre is a fraud, and deserves to be called out as such The worst thing about a presidential campaign year - and Lord knows there are many contenders for that dishonor - may not be the terrible ads or the awful debates. The worst thing in my view is the growing prominence of the media “fact-check” genre of journalism. If you ever engage in online discussions about politics, I’m sure you’ve seen it. Person A makes an assertion about something. Person B responds not by saying anything at all, but by posting a link to a media “fact-check”...

Hillary Clinton, how do you lie to us? Let me count the ways Hillary Clinton, how do you lie to us? Let me count the ways. Liberal fact checkers are providing cover for Clinton’s lies. Much of the media’s so-called fact checking is more like Media Matters efforts to propagandize for the Democrats than something Snopes has had a reliable record of - refuting urban myths. At the recent Presidential Candidates’ Debate, there was considerable “fact-checking” going on by liberal media sources, where their fact-checking included as much or more opinionating about their disagreements with Donald Trump than actual referenced...

DEBATE MODERATOR ELAINE QUIJANO IS ADVOCATE FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS This election's presidential debates have their Candy Crowley. In the form of CBS' Elaine Quijano. Elaine Quijano was a very odd choice by CBS to moderate presidential debates. While other networks put forward major personalities with some level of respect, CBS put forward Elaine Quijano, who is on CBSN, is relatively young and known to fairly few people until today. Why did CBS decide to shake things up with Elaine Quijano? A look at her reporting makes that apparent. She's done a lot of pieces advocating for illegal aliens.

Americans cringed through the last eight years of one of the worst presidents in U.S. history: Barack Hussein Obama. Reality check: he wasn’t a part of our country, our culture or our ethos. He grew up with Muslim parents, along with the Quran’s teachings in his first 11 years of school when he lived in Indonesia. In eight years, he’s created the greatest racial divide experienced in this country since the Detroit riots in 1968. He seeded this country with hundreds of thousands of Muslims bent on overwhelming our country with Sharia Law. He created 20 million more food stamp...
  • What the Debate Tells About How Candidates Would Govern

You've heard and read by now lots of spin and speculation about who won and where the polls are going to move after Monday's presidential debate. We'll know the answers to these questions soon. The more important question for the long run is how each of these candidates would govern. The debate provides no certain answers to that question, but it does offer some useful clues. Hillary Clinton started off with a laundry list of incremental economic programs -- none of which would promote economic growth. Some have already been legislated (equal pay for women, 1963), others are tilted to...

The South Carolina Republican, who previously went on record to say he's not voting for Trump nor Clinton, has now put himself in a position to play pundit and he used his time onstage to explain the strengths and weaknesses of the two major party candidates. But first, as he started a Q&A with Bloomberg's Margaret Carlson, he told a joke. 'I have the sniffles and I'm not using cocaine. I promise you,' Graham said.

At least we know Trump wasn’t lying when he said he didn't practice for the debate. Based on the behavior of trained, professional journalists, I gather I'm not supposed to say what I really thought of the debate, but to cheer like a pom-pom girl for my candidate. But the truth is, I -- along with my Trump-supporting friends -- thought it was a draw: Trump won the first half, and Hillary won the second half. Since most people stopped paying attention after the first 30 minutes, that's a win for Trump.

No one was shocked when CNN (Clinton News Network) proclaimed Hillary Clinton the landslide victor of the first 2016 Presidential debate from New York’s Hofstra University. At least CNN was honest enough to admit that their sampling was heavily weighted toward liberal viewers. That’s the most honest statement on CNN in decades. The only network in agreement is Lester Holt’s employer, NBC. But the snap-polling results from nearly every other “mainstream” news outlet were shocking, to say the least....

Hillary Clinton is not above cheating, lying or stealing to get what she wants. So it shouldn’t be any surprise that she is being accused of cheating during Monday’s 1st Presidential debate. Clinton was accused of cheating by sending hand signals to the moderator Lester Holt. During the debate when Clinton wanted to signal Holt when she wanted the floor, she rubbed her face in a manner similar to a baseball manager. According to True Pundit she has not done this in any other debates during her career supporting the accusation that these were signals. Watch this incredible video before...

Hillary Clinton is feeling the pressure in the race for the White House — even after a strong night in the first 2016 presidential debate. Clinton has a huge staff advantage over Donald Trump, which should help her turn out supporters this fall. The Electoral College is tilted in her favor, and demographics are moving in the Democratic Party’s direction. She’s running to succeed a popular president who is firmly on her side, and the economy is strengthening. She’s also running against Trump, who has divided the Republican Party while alienating large groups of Americans. Despite all those advantages, Clinton...

Washington Post reporter Callum Borchers should win some kind of award for the worst pre-debate spin. He tried to defend NBC anchor and presidential debate host Lester Holt: "It turns out Holt is actually a registered Republican. Trump still might find things to complain about Monday night, but a case for partisan bias against him will be tough to make." Right after the debate, despite all evidence, the Post's Chris Cillizza doubled down, saying: "Want a testament to how well Holt did? I guarantee you no one is talking about him tomorrow. That's a win." That is precisely as the...

Images have emerged following Monday night’s 2016 presidential debate between Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton and GOP nominee Donald Trump that are fueling widespread speculation online that Clinton may have been wired for the event. And some say she may have been wearing a battery pack, an earpiece, a microphone and a wire. Charisma News cited a Reuters image that it said appeared to reveal a flesh-colored earpiece in her left ear.

I Score the First Debate Posted September 27th, 2016 @ 8:27am Trump and Clinton debated each other for the first time last night. Here’s how I score the night. Clinton won on points. She had more command of the details and the cleaner answers. Trump did a lot of interrupting and he was defensive. If this were a college debate competition, Clinton would be declared the winner. I call that victory on the 2D chess board. But voters don’t care about facts and debating style. They care about how they feel. So let’s talk about that. For starters, Trump and...

Monday night’s debate here was a tremendous victory for Donald Trump, but his performance left plenty of room for improvement. Big picture: Polls show support for Hillary Clinton is collapsing, and she desperately needed to stanch the bleeding. She did nothing during the debate to change the trajectory of those increasingly bleak polls.
