Mainstream Press hands first debate to—Trump?
Accuracy In Media ^ | September 29, 2016 | JB Williams

No one was shocked when CNN (Clinton News Network) proclaimed Hillary Clinton the landslide victor of the first 2016 Presidential debate from New York’s Hofstra University. At least CNN was honest enough to admit that their sampling was heavily weighted toward liberal viewers. That’s the most honest statement on CNN in decades. The only network in agreement is Lester Holt’s employer, NBC.

But the snap-polling results from nearly every other “mainstream” news outlet were shocking, to say the least....

This article linked below is a very good reason why the snap polls are the way they are. I have been telling my political friends that conventional wisdom no longer applies and this only confirms my thinking as to why:

Excellent analysis. Thank you for posting.

I think the author has it exactly right. Trump’s task was to show the world that he is not a dangerous hot head. Mission accomplished.

My thinking too.

Very interesting, thanks for posting.
(Not entirely sure what to make of the polls but at least they should spoil the day for Hillary!)

I wonder if Limbaugh will take credit for this one like he did yesterday?

J.B. calls it magical, what it is is divine intervention. If you haven’t figured it out by now, you haven’t been following this phenomena as it plays out over and over again. There is nothing Trump’s opponents can level against him that equates to the power in his court. All the blind can do is scratch their heads, wonder and call it magical, unprecedented, unheard of, etc. All the Republican primary candidates experienced the force, now it’s the Hildabeast’s turn.

Just let Hillary be Hillary and the people will see the truth.

I’ve been thinking that personal media makes us almost like a small town, around which ideas can fly in seconds. It is the reason that I have begun to believe that the MSM is losing its ability to influence to the degree it used to.

You have to be joking.. the MSM is more powerful, more brazen, and more influential than ever... how else do you have a lying nasty criminal tied with an extremely successful businessman who is an agent of change and has a much more effective message all around? The damn MSM and $150mm in almost unanswered ads!

“snap polling is even weaker than scientific polling, which ain’t so great.”

Could not disagree more. What these snap polls show is enthusiasm and they are great psy-ops hits on the left. They must have been very deflated after having their friends in the media like Faux News and the rest tell them Trump was thoroughly beaten only to see these polls of real people say decidedly otherwise.

True - but sometimes the trend is so big and obvious that even they give reasonable results.

Yes.....but it's better to be ahead in these instant polls than behind.

“If Clinton is elected, society’s momentum toward homeostasis will not be accommodated. Conflict between the two classes will increase dramatically.”

I read the article you linked to. Very interesting analysis of which I agree. In particular the part of it I quoted above.

I think there is going to be trouble not matter who is elected. If its Hillary there will be civil war or a coup.
