EXCLUSIVE–FORMER U.S. ATTORNEY: DOJ SHOULD OPEN A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION INTO HARRY REID PUSHING EB-5 VISA EXPANSION Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) says he intends to retire at the end of his term in 2017. But he may still face legal pressure before he leaves. Former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova, a leading legal expert on the prosecution and defense of white collar criminals, tells Breitbart News there is enough public evidence to launch a criminal investigation of Reid. “Here’s the issue,” diGenova tells Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. “Because his son was involved representing the SLS Casino and Hotel...

Hillary Clinton did not hand over new documents to the House panel investigating Benghazi and wiped her server clean of past emails, the committee’s chairman said in a statement Friday. Clinton did not provide correspondence or emails to the Select Committee on Benghazi, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), said, even though the former secretary of state was under a subpoena, issued early this month, for all correspondence from Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state that focused on Libya and Benghazi.

To the surprise of absolutely no one familiar with the ways of Corruptifornia, the one-party state completely in the hands of the Democrats, a consortium whose lead firm is controlled by Richard Blum, husband of Sen. Diane Feinstein, was awarded a nearly billion-dollar contract for the construction of the first phase of the so-called high-speed rail line to link San Francisco and Los Angeles. Those paying attention to the project call it the “half-fast†rail line because it will share trackage with  conventional commuter rail trains in the sprawling Los Angeles and San Francisco areas, lowering its average speed...

We’ve learned a lot about Hillary Clinton over the past few days and as the evidence against her continues to stack up, it is becoming clear that she will likely be charged with a crime. If convicted, it’s likely she could face jail time. I stayed up late last night reading into all of the allegations against Hillary and it is worse than we previously thought. A few days ago, it was revealed that during her entire time at the State Department, Hillary Clinton only used a private email address (even to conduct official business). Now, we’re finding out that...

Congressman Justin Moed, a Democratic legislator representing downtown Indianapolis, the state’s largest city and its capital, posted graphic sexual texts to Leathers on Twitter using the handle “Bitch Boy” and sent her gifts including a “Fetish Fantasy Series Pink Leash & Collar." Moed apologized on Tuesday in a statement to the Indianapolis Daily Star. "I am truly sorry I have hurt the ones I love most with my poor judgment. I am committed to rebuilding trust with my family and my community. This is a private matter and I ask for it to be treated as such. I apologize to...

“I would argue, the Clinton operation counts as a machine — not just as a metaphor or allegory, but as a bona fide, contemporary update of the old 19th-century operation,” Jay Cost writes at the Weekly Standard: A lot of people were wondering what public business she was conducting on a private account. What I wanted to know was: what private business did she not want to conduct on a public account? If given three guesses, I’d say: politics, politics, politics. There’s a historical parallel here with the Cameron Machine of Pennsylvania, which formed in the 1870s and lasted, in...

Ever wonder why multiple investigations of the Benghazi attack failed to turn up much from Hillary Clinton’s e-mails? So did the House Select Committee investigating the attack on the facility and the failures that led to it. To their surprise, the Secretary of State had conducted all of her e-mail on a private account rather than an official State Department account — and her aides had carefully culled only the e-mails they wanted investigators to see. The New York Times’ Michael Schmidt dropped that bombshell earlier this evening: Hillary Rodham Clinton exclusively used a personal email account to conduct government...

Former small town Democratic Party chairman 'plotted to hire hit man to kill girls aged nine and ten who he molested' before they could testify against him A former chairman of the Falls Church Democratic Party charged with molesting two young girls is accused of plotting to have them killed before they testified against him during his trial. Michael Gardner, 50, from Falls Church, Virginia, is said to have approached an inmate in 2013 about finding a hit man to kill the young girls. The inmate he contacted notified police in January about their multiple conversations, according to court documents....

Democratic mega donor Tom Steyer financed at least one of the green groups who made payments to former Governor John Kitzhaber's fiancee, Cylvia Hayes while she was an "unofficial" advisor in the governor's office. The payments were made at the same time that the state was evaluating green fuel standards. The Washington Free Beacon is also reporting that several Steyer associates were involved in the scheme.

Albany is terrified and in disarray after Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver’s arrest, with lawmakers and insiders fearing he’ll turn on them to save himself. “People are scratching their heads and saying, ‘What did I say the last time I spoke to Shelly?’ ” one veteran Albany lobbyist told The Post on Friday. After Silver’s arrest Thursday, US Attorney Preet Bharara hinted at more to come, telling the public to “stay tuned.” Now legislators are questioning why Silver’s closest Democratic colleagues, including Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Morelle, have pledged support for him instead of calling for his resignation. “They want Shelly to...

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Eighty-seven year old former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards has come up short in his attempt at a political comeback after serving a prison sentence for corruption. Results of Saturday's runoff in the Baton Rouge area's 6th Congressional District showed Edwards, a lifelong Democrat, losing to Republican Garret Graves. Graves had been heavily favored in the district that leans strongly Republican.

According to the BCF press release, Opelousas Mayor Don Cravins Sr. spoke at a rally at the Charcoal Lounge in Opelousas on November 3, 2014 – the day before Louisiana’s primary election. Mark Udall Advocates Condone Voter Fraud:"That’s Not Even Like Lying or Stealing"A top official at a Democratic get-out-the-vote outfit working to reelect Sen. Mark Udall (D., Colo) appears to endorse voter fraud in a hidden camera video released on Wednesday. The video, released by conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe, shows Meredith Hicks, director of the political canvassing group Work for Progress, endorse the casting of fraudulent mail-in ballots for ineligible voters. “If they are not eligible to vote, and all these people are throwing out ballots, lets use those ballots to vote. Eric Holder’s left many baleful legacies: being censured by the House of Representatives; withholding subpoenaed documents, proving untruthful about a failed gun-walking caper in Mexico; failing to enforce laws on the books, from immigration to the elements of the Affordable Care Act; illegally billing the government for his own private use of a government Gulfstream jet; snooping on Associated Press reporters; giving de facto exemptions to renegade IRS politicos; and trying to create civilian trials for terrorist killers like KSM, one of the architects of the 9/11 attacks. But he will be known mostly for re-teaching Americans to think of...

Attorney General Eric Holder plans to announce Thursday that he is resigning from the Obama administration, a Justice Department official confirmed to Fox News. The decision would cap a tumultuous six-year term for the nation's top law enforcement official. Holder is one of the few Cabinet officials to have stayed on since the beginning of the Obama presidency. The Justice official said Holder has agreed to remain on the job until his successor is confirmed. According to the official, Holder has discussed his plans with Obama on "multiple occasions" in recent months. "[He] finalized those plans in an hour-long conversation...

The lofty motto of the Environmental Protection Agency is “protecting people and the environment.” In practice, however, EPA bureaucrats faithfully protect their own people and preserve the government’s cesspool of manipulation, cover-ups and cronyism. Just last month, Mark Levin and his vigilant Landmark Legal Foundation went to court to ask federal district Judge Royce Lamberth to sanction the EPA “for destroying or failing to preserve emails and text messages that may have helped document suspected agency efforts to influence the 2012 presidential election.” The motion is part of a larger Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit to force the EPA...
