I have tried in many different ways to find a listing of government grants. I am not looking to apply but I want to know who is granted my tax dollars. I have found when a group brags about getting one, but is there a listing of grants issued? Similar to the radicals in the sixties who complained their tax dollars going to the “military industrial complex” I don’t think mine should go to La-Raza, Blacklivesmatter, National Action Network, or CAIR among others. Am I looking in the wrong place or is this information purposely not published?

Begin with brainwashed college students absurdly demanding their institution of ‘higher learning’, Western Washington University, rescind the masters degree awarded a state senator for admitting being a “climate agnostic.” Sen. Doug Ericksen, who holds a degree in political science and environmental policy, seems to have used the term to illustrate how man-made climate change has become a religion rather than science-based theory. Evidently, that, along with his removing verbiage from legislation referring to climate change as being a threat to the state, was enough to invoke the ire of the eco-faithful to ply WWU to revoke his degree. Thankfully, the...

The C-17 military aircraft, brought from the U.S. military base in Ramstein, Germany, departed Geneva's Cointrin airport shortly before 1600 GMT (1200 ET), Reuters witnesses said, bound for Kerry's home city of Boston. "Headed back to Boston. Look fwd to getting leg set & getting back to @StateDept! Meantime, work goes on. Big thanks for well-wishes," Kerry tweeted minutes after departure. Earlier, Kerry told French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius he would participate by telephone in a summit on Tuesday in Paris bringing together some two dozen countries to discuss the U.S.-led coalition's strategy against Islamic State militants in Iraq and...

This is the situation. I am late 50s in the corporate world of supply chain management. I've done OK, though not spectacular and gone about as far as I can go. We are empty nesters now and my mother, for whom I was the primary care giver, passed away about six months ago.The present corporate world is giving signals that my work, which they were formerly quite happy with, is all of a sudden, a topic of petty complaints. I believe it is time to look for a new career.I see tons of ads for truck drivers promising a minimum...

Teaching school age children how to be politically correct far exceeds educating them. In education, indoctrination has become a lucrative cottage industry, because it can count of the support of generous government grants. Rather than school kids wanting to talk about the family’s next planned trip to Disneyland, they will be probing the size of their parents’ carbon footprint, per the instructions of their classroom teacher—and coming up with creative ways to shrink it.

Lately I've noticed the product reviews on Amazon have become free of typos and misspellings and all errors in usage. This is absolutely weird if you think about it. For the longest time (years) these product reviews were peppered with grammatical errors, misspellings, punctuation errors and inconsistencies as one would kind of expect, coming as they did from purchasers who are not professional writers and who represent a cross section of varying educational and experience backgrounds. Now, however, the reviews from five stars on down to one star all read as though they've come straight out of Consumer Reports magazine....

Private school kids can read. Classical academy kids can read. Montessori school kids can read. Homeschooled kids can read. Spot the pattern? It’s only kids in public schools who can’t read. Why is that? You would think our education professors would figure out what the schools are doing wrong. In fact, they have not figured out very much in the last 80 years. Our professors seem mainly concerned with perpetuating the wrong ways to teach reading. And so the crisis continues. Truth is, reading is easy to teach and easy to learn. All the phonics experts agree: reading is no...

Corrupt FIFA Has Clinton Foundation Ties; World Cup Host Qatar Gave Millions Both Bill Clinton and his family’s charity have been tied to soccer’s governing body, as well as Qatar’s disastrous World Cup bid. And just like that, another Clinton Foundation donor is in the news. The Clinton global charity has received between $50,000 and $100,000 from soccer’s governing body and has partnered with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association on several occasions, according to donor listings on the foundation’s website. Several top FIFA executives were arrested Wednesday in Zurich and face corruption charges stretching back two decades, according to...

If you search the Loudoun County Public Library website for Ann's book, "!Adios, America!" you come up with NOTHING. No combination of those words will bring you to her book. Search by author brings you to her book, UNDER THE TITLE "OFFENSIVE" Curious, yes?

Anybody ever noticed how the Facebook Trending bar virtually never has an antileftwing story? Whenever there is a political story its always some attack on conservatives or Republican foible. I don't think I've every seen a Democrat on a headline except rarely as praise like 'obama fistbumps' or something to that effect. Its on by default and there is no way to remove it either. Mighty curious as to how the 'algorithms' work. Seems to be some roundabout way to shift people who otherwise don't get news any other way. Am I mistaken? Go ahead and see if you can...

There's probably a few threads already but I've been here 14 years and rarely post vanities. So indulge me.I've got about $1600 +/-$200 to spend. I certainly don't need to spend it all.I want a good semi-auto rifle. What to get?Currently, I have a Maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun. I have a .45 1911. I have some Smith and Wesson Glock copy in .40 cal that a buddy needed money for. I have a Ruger 10-22. I have a Winchester 30-30.I'm missing something. A semi-auto rifle.Lately, I've been a strong proponent of something in .308/7.62 NATO and leaning towards a DS...

From the first sudden, and quite dramatic, appearance of the fanatical Islamic group known as ISIS which was largely unheard of until a year ago, on the world's stage and which promptly replaced the worn out and tired al Qaeda as the world's terrorist bogeyman, we suggested that the "straight to beheading YouTube clip" purpose behind the Saudi Arabia-funded Islamic State was a simple one: use the Jihadists as the vehicle of choice to achieve a political goal: depose of Syria's president Assad, who for years has stood in the way of a critical Qatari natural gas pipeline, one which...

It may seem strange to suggest that the study of propaganda has relevance to contemporary politics. After all, when most people think about propaganda, they think of the enormous campaigns that were waged by Hitler and Stalin in the 1930s. Since nothing comparable is being disseminated in our society today, many believe that propaganda is no longer an issue. But propaganda can be as blatant as a swastika or as subtle as a joke. Its persuasive techniques are regularly applied by politicians, advertisers, journalists, radio personalities, and others who are interested in influencing human behavior. Propagandistic messages can be used...

I am new, however, have been monitering this site and others regarding WACO. None of the pressers, blogs, news sites that I have found discuss the status of the arrested MotorCyclists. Are they all still in WACO? Have they attorneys? Have family access to them? Who are the LE's interviewing them, etc. Is it the local LEs or BATFE, FBI, or another federal agency, including military.

From using cell phones and computers to watching movies online, wireless technology has made life easier. But now, some say there is a serious downside. As CBS2’s Maurice Dubois explained, there are those who claim that exposure to wi-fi is making people sick, and some people don’t even know it. “Brain fog. That’s my worst problem. A brain fog,” Suzanne Hoyt said. Hoyt said that nothing prepared her for the rush of symptoms that she suddenly developed. “Headaches, perspiration, pain in my jaws and my heart. It’s like physical expansion of the heart,” she said. Hoyt said it all started...

High Crimes and Misdemeanors The U.S. Constitution provides impeachment as the method for removing the president, vice president, federal judges, and other federal officials from office. The impeachment process begins in the House of Representatives and follows these steps: 1.The House Judiciary Committee holds hearings and, if necessary, prepares articles of impeachment. These are the charges against the official. 2.If a majority of the committee votes to approve the articles, the whole House debates and votes on them. 3.If a majority of the House votes to impeach the official on any article, then the official must then stand trial in...

Even Rush Limbaugh brings this topic up time to time. Hillary gets paid a six-digit figure to speak, yet she is far from a great speaker/orator. If anything she is just monotone. Then you have to wonder why anyone would want to hear her speak, right? And has anyone ever shouted her down over her scandals? Something just wasn't right about her appearances, no normal/average American would ever want to attend a Hillary Speech. So can we assume that just like with the phony or laughable "Obama Props", we also have the "Paid Hillary Actors" to cheer and applaud at her...

Better hurry up and fetch your ice cubes! The Antarctic is claimed to be melting at an unprecedented rate. NASA wants you believe that “Massive Antarctic Ice Shelf Will Be Gone Within Years.” More specifically, a team led by Ala Khazendar of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory has found that the ice is melting so fast that the shelf will be gone before 2020. Presumably, that’s the good news. The bad news is that it’s all Hullabaloo. Neither the Arctic nor the Antarctic sea-ice is melting at any rate out of the norm. In fact, the opposite is true. As of...
