The United States has informed Pakistan it will have to pay for eight American F-16 fighter jets itself after members of Congress raised objections to the proposed deal that would have seen the U.S sponsoring part of the purchase. But this is precisely what they voted to do under the Bipartisan Budget Bill of 2015.
