NEW YORK -- For the first time in its 80-year history, Augusta National Golf Club has female members. The home of the Masters, under increasing criticism the last decade because of its all-male membership, invited former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore to become the first women in green jackets when the club opens for a new season in October. Both women accepted.

I post this as a differentiator. You can find plenty of information about Condi and the LOST treaty during the Bush years, but it can be common for people to do what the administration they're currently involve with wants done, despite it being counter to what they believe. Or they've had a change of opinion over time. This is not the case in Condi's case, her position is clear outside of the Bush Administration. She does not support American sovereignty. Despite the Drudge Report's article Thursday night reporting that Condoleezza Rice is the new frontrunner to be Mitt Romney's running mate, a spokesperson for the former secretary of state tells ABC News she is still not interested in the job. In an email the spokesperson said that Rice, who is on vacation, has no plans to comment specifically on the Drudge Report article, but that all of her previous statements denying interest in being Romney's vice presidential pick "still stand." Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will endorse former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney Wednesday night, a source close to the Republican’s presidential campaign confirmed to the Fix. Rice will throw her formal endorsement behind Romney in California, where he is attending fundraisers in the San Francisco area.
